Despite the most recent diagnosis of Mitch McConnell’s health, Senator Rand Paul rejected the assessment that the Senate minority leader’s freezing issues were merely from dehydration.
Dr. Brian P. Monahan, the Attending Physician of the United States Congress, released a medical statement on Tuesday after running several evaluations on McConnell and consulting with neurologists. Monahan determined there was “no evidence” that McConnell has Parkinson’s disease, nor did he have a stroke or seizure during his recent press events.
McConnell’s health has drawn renewed public focus due to two incidents with reporters where he suddenly became incapable of speaking, necessitating interventions from his aides and colleagues. While Monahan gave McConnell a clean bill of health, Senator Paul — a licensed ophthalmologist who graduated from the Duke University School of Medicine — had apparent disagreements with the diagnosis of his fellow Kentucky representative.
“I think it’s an inadequate explanation to say this is dehydration,” Paul said. “It doesn’t look like dehydration to me. It looks like a focal neurologic event. That doesn’t mean it’s incapacitating, it doesn’t mean he can’t serve, but it means that somebody ought to wake up and say, ‘Wow! This looks like a seizure.'”
Paul spoke with multiple reporters on the subject, doubling down on his view that dehydration was “not a valid medical diagnosis” for McConnell’s condition

I follow the money and believe Dr. Paul.
If you are soooo dehydrated that you lock up and are unresponsive, that IS a neurological event. Water is vital to many aspects of life and functioning, from metabolism and the endocrine system to respiration and mineral transport, and I’m not doctor like Rand, but also neurochemical transmission.
If you’re that dehydrated, you would not likely even be able to stand properly.
the “dehydration’ thing is a bull**** excuse and a cover

Many MSM sources expressed fear that Mitch might have to be replaced. They know he is nothing but a rat collaborator at this point. Rand had the courage to speak the truth.
Mitch just had a couple FJB Bidenskyyyy moments. Bidenskyyyyy has them all day long. No big deal.
If only Glitch McConnell had as good a soundtrack.
Senator Paul is more than likely right-McTurtle fell and got a concussion just a few months ago-a bad one, serious enough to send him to rehab for weeks-but he left early and went back to work-him having a seizure or two or more because of that concussion doesn’t surprise me-anyone might-especially if they left rehab before they were supposed to-duh! Closed head injuries/concussions are serious s***-that is what rehab is for...
Pelosi had the very same “events”...has EVERYONE forgotten????
In today’s world, we are not supposed to believe our eyes and ears.
When will he grand mal seize. It’s coming. What a selfish SOB. Retire Turtle. Go home.
“Most likely is was a TIA.”
That’s what it looked like to me, after witnessing my MIL experiencing a few.
Absence seizure, known as ‘Petit Mal’, is as good a cause as any. And it is undetectable unless there is an EEG plugged in *as it happens*.
“Mini strokes”, small ischemic (clot) strokes, still leave a clear blood trace for some length of time. Plus, they are like foreshocks to an earthquake. That is, little ones lead up to big ones.
If he was on the toilet and froze up, I would suspect his Vagus Nerve, but that it unlikely during a speech. Nerve fibers within the vagus nerve are connected to the part of the brain believed to be responsible for producing seizures.
It was the ice cold Chai.

In my opinion... your post #5 speaks the TRUTH quite CLEARLY and SIMPLY.
Precisely
