Despite his status as the nation’s oldest president in history, Joe Biden feels he is “babied” by his staff, setting off the 80-year-old’s Irish temper, according to a new book peeling back the inner workings of the White House.
The gaffe-prone president’s staff regularly scrambles to mop up the messes Biden makes with off-script comments, but the efforts are not always appreciated, according to Franklin Foer’s “The Last Politician,” which went on sale Tuesday.
That tension came to a head in the early days of Russia’s war on Ukraine when Biden, through excitement, bombed what otherwise would have been a triumphant speech supporting Kyiv, Foer writes. The March speech was critically important to Biden. Chief of the Joint Staff Gen. Mark Milley had “egged the president on” as he drafted it, according to the book by the Atlantic staff writer and the former editor of the New Republic.

I knew someone who lost a parent to dementia. They learned that if the person was nice in life, they were nice when losing it. Also, if someone was a mean bastard they were usually worse.

This old crook is comparing himself to Kennedy? What a laugh, or should I be PO’d. I’d say JFK was the last of the Blue Dog dem presidents. One that actually respected the Constitution and rule of law. These are things Biden cannot even come close to. He makes Carter look good. So yes, Biden needs diapers, adults like JFK never did (except as an infant).

Well, let’s see...JFK didn’t say stupid things or make simple-minded ramblings, didn’t get lost while trying to exit a stage, didn’t molest young girls and women in public, and didn’t walk away from a military hero when he was bestowing the Medal of Honor. And that’s just a start.
As the son-in-law of a victim of dementia, and a friend of many others who suffered mental impairments in their old age— I am not knocking or making fun of his condition. I am knocking the Democratic Party, his family, and ultimately Biden himself for making it possible for someone of his degraded mental state to get elected to the presidency. I’ll wager that in 2020 he was on his way to where he was now, he knew it and those close to him knew it, but he was able to hide in his basement during the “campaign” due to COVID restrictions.
He’s a jello pudding. Much worse than a jelly donut.
Outbursts of anger are common in advancing senile dementia. Joe has always been and angry man even before his dementia. Due to his dementia he can no longer control this anger.
