A federal trial over Georgia's state legislative district maps is set to kick off next week in Atlanta.
In 2021, several Georgia residents and groups, including the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and the Sixth District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, filed suit against Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. They argued that the state's legislative maps drafted in 2021 violated Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

This lawsuit has flown under the radar it seems. I haven't seen any reporting on it at FR recently. I'm always skeptical of any organization who speaks of "our democracy". Our nation is not a democracy. Neither are our states. We have a representative republic government and I'm afraid we are going to be unable to keep it.

I suppose it is permanently imbedded in Leftist brains and federal courts that in Congress, only blacks can represent blacks.
Without victims, the democrat party wouldn’t exist.

.... Whatever is considered to be beneficial to the Democrat Party is obviously what will be deemed as the legal solution.

Where the Democrat lost by 20 votes. So a Judge against DeSantis and said he has to redo the lines. Yes for 20 vote loss. Insane.
