Former Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff Marc Short said Friday on CNN’s “The Lead” that Donald Trump’s mugshot was the “tragic” result of the former president violating his oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “This is first time I’ve talked to you since Trump turned himself in Fulton County Jail. You worked for Pence, but previously you were Trump’s director of legislative affairs. I want to get your response as a human being, when you look at the mug shot of Donald Trump, the former president, you’ve seen it now.”

Democrats wound us using all their resources, and then as certain as the sun will rise tomorrow, a RINO eagerly runs to the nearest microphone to gleefully perform a political vivisection and then shoot them on live TV. Of course, the RINO is paid handsomely in terms of being loved by the media and the establishment with financial remuneration on the back end.

The saddest and most disgusting aspect of his comment is the fact that he is prototype of about 98% of the “Republican” politicians in DC, the majority of state Congresses, county commissions, city/town councils and various boards.
The more to the “right” someone is to folks like Short, Pence and the rest, the more they’re described and painted as, fringe, by Republicans and the media. Ergo, the don’t get much publicity or air time. When they do it’s normally in a negative light and, even to this day, people still believe the BS peddled by the media, RNC, GOPe, UNIPARTY, Establishment.
At this point in the country’s history, one would think that the people, primarily those on the RIGHT, would be fully awake and done with the Establishment. But they continue to vote for the same tired, corrupt clowns that have been selling all of us out, at every level.
So now it’s an oath violation. The BS accusations of overturning the election apparently aren’t working anymore.
Why not improve election security with voter ID and other improvements. People will never trust drop box/mail in elections with no ID, no signature requirement, no postmark requirements and on and on.
I think Marc has come up short.
