The United States government estimates that approximately 500,000 soldiers in the Ukrainian and Russian militaries have been killed or wounded on the battlefield to date.
Shockingly, the real numbers are surely dramatically higher as both nations are known to deliberately undercount their casualties. Sorrowfully, those numbers don’t include the thousands of Ukrainian civilians killed or the millions who have fled the country.

This is putin’s war. He can end it anytime.
Ukraine will never surrender.
Most of these NEEDLESS deaths, the blame can be laid at the feet of the U.S. Congress, Senate and Biden. So tragic, when they could have been led into a diplomatic dialog and reach a peace agreement. Another stellar monument to the U.S failed policies based upon GREED.
Biden’s Vietnam.
You are correct. FJB does not give a **** about the Ukrainian people and couldn't care less if they were all exterminated.
He does, however, care a great deal about the $100,000,000,000+ money-laundering operation being conducted through the proxy war and the "10% for the Big Guy."
He wants as many Russians and Ukrainians to kill each other off.
So there isn't a thousand years history of conflict between Russia and Ukraine?
History begins where it is convenient for your simple-minded warmongering narrative?
LOL, why do you think I am a war monger?
That is the most one-sided take on this war...
Carry on.
President Trump had 4 years as POTUS to resolve this conflict. What did he do? Nothing, basically.
The globalists want cheap Russian energy to finance their whack job policies. The globalists desperate want a new Iran nuke deal because it removes President Trump’s excellent policies. Ukrainians desire to not as live as slaves, again, in the filthy Russian World is getting in they way of the globalist agenda.
More crocodile tears from people who don’t give a d*** about the Ukrainian people.
I’m pretty sure that if the author went to Ukraine and started spouting this stuff they would become the latest casualty.
Every single dead and wounded Ukrainian is blood on Putin’s hands.
And Hitler could have stopped World War 2. Sorry for being so one-sided.
But the war didn’t start while Trump was president.
How did you expect Trump to resolve a conflict which had not happened yet, while he was president?
If the Ukrainians surrendered the war would not stop; it would just go to phase 2: a bloody insurgency. See Algeria, Vietnam, and Afghanistan. The Ukrainians have had enough of Russian domination and will not just lay down their arms and accept it again. The only way for this war to end is for Russia to go home.
Now here comes the anti Trump nonsense from so-called conservatives.
Is Trump prevented this war during his 4 years.
There was no Ukraine war when Trump was President because Trump was President
“It’s in America’s interest that Russia conquers Europe? That’s a take!”
It’s in America’s interest that:
The war in Ukraine end asap
And normal Black Sea commerce resumes
And Russian and Ukrainian commodities be restored to the market
The US has no other interests in the part of the world.
Oh, and careful what you say...there are a bunch of Ukrainian partisans that might believe the Russians might try to seize the lands of NATO Europe.
But smart people like you know that can’t happen. You just want to rile the stupid.
These ridiculous little babies with their fantasy thinking have no ability or no willingness to think about the state of things in Europe with an emboldened Russia up against the Polish border.
But why think about the real world and real threats when they can throw tantrums like a baby.
“The only way for this war to end is for Russia to go home.”
They are home, and the Neocons will have to figure that out, either the easy way, or the hard way. If they didn’t want borders to change, then they should NOT have started this war.
Somehow you don’t know that Russia has demanded that nato must withdraw from every single former soviet block country.
Grow up.
