Former President Donald Trump’s Georgia election interference trial will be televised and live-streamed, the judge handling the case said Thursday.
The legal proceedings will be broadcast on a YouTube stream operated by the court for television, radio, and still photography will be allowed, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said Thursday during a hearing on the level of media coverage that will be allowed inside the courtroom.
“In line with the spirit of transparency here, we have followed Judge [Robert] McBurney’s model, and we have been livestreaming all of our major proceedings on a Fulton County-provided YouTube channel,” McAfee said.
“And our plan was to do that with this case as well. So there’s going to be a YouTube feed the entire time.”

On another thread someone else suggested that if the live stream telecast seems to be benefiting Trump then the court will cut it off.
It’ll still be entertaining, watching them panic and scramble for the off switch. Like something out of Atlas Shrugged.

As Sundance pointed out, lawfare isn’t about the law, it’s about influencing public opinion. So yeah, if it starts looking good for Trump, out go the lights and a toilet springs a leak.
This sure places that judge under tremendous pressure and now the spotlight will all be on that judge! They may get way more than they bargain for since nothing can ever be deemed inadmissible without the entire country seeing the railroad job taking place. Even Joe Biden may be called to testify due to the comments he has made while a sitting president! This is a can of worms that they opened and will now be forced to live with! This changes the entire approach for trumps lawyers and for the good too! A great lawyer would make a mockery of the judge and the entire system and nothing can stop it from happening.

Would be nice if a couple of the high-profile evangelical leaders showed up at that trial. Someone like Franklin Graham, maybe. The Christian right will be watching, and observing the persecution in real time... and will be reminded of this particular verse...

The judge didn’t seem too concerned during the live stream on vote fraud in Arizona.
Problem with these trials is that the judges have too much power. They can narrow scope and greatly affect admissable evidence.
Good. Trump knows media, and will expose this kangaroo court for what it is, live and on camera.
Like the mugshot, they will regret this decision as it will benefit President Trump’s case against his perecution. The more the people see this Stalinesque charade, the more people’s eyes will be opened.

As Tucker pointed out, they might just kill him, which will backfire big time. It can be done with a pin prick, and look like a heart attack. But he still won’t be POTUS.
They wouldn’t televise this unless they thought they already control the outcome.
I hope Trump and his team can take advantage of it but I think they are letting it be streamed and televised because they are going to railroad him like Alex jones. Or like the rape trial. Won’t let them use their witnesses. Call him guilty they just want to know how guilty. Hoping it’s a fair jury. They should be allowed to show the election fraud evidence during discovery.
Discovery is pre-trial. At trial, they only get to show that which the judge deems admissible. It’s not a fair judge, but there are rules that even a biased judge must follow.
