Hussein Mousavian headlined STRATCOM's Deterrence Symposium
U.S. military leaders earlier this month hosted a former top Iranian official who came under fire last year for bragging about the hardline regime’s efforts to assassinate American leaders.
U.S. Strategic Command (STRATCOM) tapped Hussein Mousavian, a former member of Iran’s nuclear negotiating team who works as a Middle East security and nuclear policy specialist at Princeton University, to headline its 2023 Deterrence Symposium, a high-level powwow that brought the former Iranian official shoulder-to-shoulder with America’s top military brass.
Mousavian’s appearance at the mid-August gathering, which came to light on Monday after STRATCOM posted a video of the event, drew criticism from former U.S. officials and veteran Iran analysts who questioned why America’s premier military outfit would host someone who maintains close ties to the Islamic Republic.

Sounds like the guy had chance to take care of some business and didn’t. What’s up with that?
The dean of my engineering college had a senior seminar for graduating seniors. It was an intimate round table affair, and he had in inventors, entrepreneurs, a multimillionaire and a group of Iranian dissidents. THEY really made an impression. They got to go talk full-tilt-crazy. I looked around the table at the wide-eyed, open-mouthed disbelief and noticed the dean kept a hand in front of his face to hide his smile. It was one of the most educating moments of my college career. You don’t really realize how crazy crazy can be until you sit down and talk to it.
SPJNK.
Madness.
Who in hell is running the US military? Expatriates from One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest?
“Who in hell is running the US military? Expatriates from One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest?”
It sure seems like it, doesn’t it?
I wish he had done us a favor.
Start with Joe Biden and work down from there.
But of course, they know Democrats, alive, are far more dangerous to the USA than any weapons they could devise.
Teaching at Princeton — with blood on his hands (Seyed Hossein Mousavian)

Seyed Hossein Mousavian is an ex-Iranian diplomat whose tenure in Germany coincided with the regime’s assassination of four dissidents on German soil. Yet he currently lives in comfort in the United States. Does he belong here? That’s the question raised by a number of prominent Iranian-Americans in a recent letter to Attorney General Bill Barr.
The details are grim. Late evening on Sept. 17, 1992, four men were dining together in the backroom of the Mykonos restaurant, a Greek eatery in central Berlin. They were Iranian exiles who had gathered to meet a prominent Kurdish opponent of the Tehran regime.
At 10:47 pm, two masked assailants entered the restaurant and began firing at the men, killing all four. The killers immediately fled the scene. The German government launched an investigation, which led to the identification of an Iranian intelligence officer, three Hezbollah jihadists and an Iranian-German businessman who jointly coordinated the assassination.

Sorry for typo. ..along with others.
From another thread :
“…According to his deposition, Mesbahi defected from the Iranian secret service in 1996 and placed himself under German protection. He reportedly helped Germany solve the murder of five Iranian dissidents at a Berlin restaurant.[my note: Mykonos restaurant, a Greek eatery in central Berlin. ]
In his testimony, Mesbahi described an extensive Iranian intelligence network in South America. The network’s main task was gunrunning and influencing Muslims in the region.
Mesbahi said Buenos Aires was the regional headquarters for the organization and that the Iranian Embassy in Buenos Aires provided support for a cell that bombed the Israeli Embassy here on March 17, 1992, killing 28 people.
The same happened with the bombing of the AMIA community center, Mesbahi said.
After each bombing, Iran sent commercial missions to Buenos Aires and trade increased exponentially, Mesbahi told investigators.
Iran became a model customer, purchasing massive amounts of commodities and leather products, never complaining about exorbitant prices or asking for reciprocal purchases of Iranian produce.…”
