LA city council votes for lawsuit, criminal probe against Texas over migrant busing program

The Los Angeles city council voted unanimously to pursue a lawsuit and criminal probe against Texas over its migrant busing program this week.

The Wednesday vote came just hours after the eleventh migrant bus since June arrived in the city's jurisdiction carrying 42 migrants. The council requested that the city attorney's office investigate whether Texas Gov. Greg Abbott had committed any crimes through the program, and whether there is justification for a lawsuit.

Abbott's program has delivered a total of 435 migrants to Los Angeles since buses started arriving on June 14. In all, the program has sent more than 30,000 migrants to Democrat-led cities across the country, including New York City, Chicago and Washington, D.C.

"Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has sent 435 migrants to Los Angeles since June"

The left thinks their own "sanctuary" policies require Texas to take in all the illegal aliens. Sending them to California is obviously a crime. They signal their virtue by welcoming the aliens to Texas--but not to L.A.

I would do anything to see an IQ test given to Californians. They have to be the most stupid people in the nation. Their college diplomas are worthless. (Check USC, UCLA, Cal and Stanford and find that 90% of its academics are from out of state.) Its movies stink. Its beaches are filthy. Its women are expensive whores. Its famous restaurants little better than MickeyDs. Absolutely everything from hairpins to condoms is overpriced. So, when you come right down to it, nowadays the only thing that moves California above the mediocre is fairly decent (and overpriced) wine.

It would be far more efficient if Texas sent the migrants by train and planes to LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Boston.

Um, where?

Eleventh Amendment: The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State.

This has been broadly interpreted. Incidentally, Texas could consent to jurisdiction but doubt they woud. California courts don’t have jurisdiction over Texas.

PS Unsurprised this idiot does not know the 11th Amendment.

The correct answer is to double the number of buses, preferably arriving at city council members neighborhoods.

Um there are still some smart people in California. For example I believe the founder of this site lives there. Also, I used to but escaped.

But IMhO the majority are ignorant, brainwashed, stupid, or some combination of the three.

Also, why is the LA City Council so racist? I’d imagine their Hispanic constituents think it’s odd that brothers from Mexico, Central and South America are not being accepted with open arms. Must be they’re a bunch of heartless racists....

You clowns have bigger problems than this. LA is a shining example of all that's wrong in the US today, from a city prosecutor who says stealing is okay if it's less than $900 to a mayor who doesn't know how to solve any problem, but is quick to blame everyone and everything else.

Isn’t Los Angeles still declaring itself to be a
sanctuary city? Why should Texas not think of it
as a place that wants more of them?

So now LA wants the taking of illegals to a self-declared sanctuary city and state to be illegal? Have they ever explained why they are now rejecting their own self-declared sanctuary status?????? These incompetent nutjob leftists contradict themselves at every turn.

Texas needs to bring a lawsuit against the Lost Azhos City Council for false advertising. They are telling the illegal aliens that Cauliphonya is a sanctuary for them.

435

In for a penny, in for a pound. Texas should charter every idle bus in the country and send them 43,500.
