HARTFORD — Connecticut U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy has tested positive for coronavirus, he said Wednesday.
The Democrat announced Wednesday that he tested positive for COVID-19 and reluctantly had to postpone his one-week “Walk Across Connecticut.”
“Argh. I was super excited to start my annual Walk Across Connecticut today, but I started getting some mild COVID symptoms last night. I tested this morning and I’m positive,” Murphy wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Will reschedule the walk for later this year. So bummed.”
Murphy, 50, began his annual walk in 2016 as a way to visit off-the-beaten path places and hear from constituents.

The worst cold I have ever had was when I was 18 and it was summer, god the mucous would never stop.
Then 1 and half year later I got a nasty flu, where fluids were being projected profusely from the two major orifaces at the same time.
Thank god I have not anything nasty since.

Trump will lose again. It will not be as close as was last time. He will blame his loss on fraud again and go to prison. If he lives long enough, he may get pardoned out in 2029 after incumbent Harris is defeated but maybe not if state charges don’t get overturned by SCOTUS.
Time to stop being pollyannish about what the country has become and pretending like your storybook ending is preordained by the almighty. This election is easily winnable or losable, and our side seems determined to lose it.

My mother was hosting a dinner party that night, and they probably heard me puking and sh!tting, luckily I made it to the toilet, and the sh!t was there, but the vomit did not make it to the faucet tub, and it was a mess. I cleaned it up with toilet paper, went down stairs and got a Coke to rehydrate myself and went to bed.
Next day I felt pretty good.
