The first Republican debate was a disappointing disaster—for the candidates and America. Not one of the questions addressed the elephant in the room. In fact, the list of questions selected by Fox News, which likely received enthusiastic approval from the Democrat Party, helped highlight the elephant.
Candidates were asked about a viral blue grass song, inflation, Ukraine, China, Israel, and other foreign relations issues, crime, energy, the border, climate change, abortion, and more. But as important as these things are, they pale by comparison to the single most important issue, the one posing the greatest threat to our Republic since the 1850s.
The greatest threat to our Republic, to our democracy, to our country as we know it is the unholy alliance that has been exposed between the Democrat Party, federal agencies, and the media—resulting in the greatest level of corruption we have ever witnessed.
Saying this just a few years ago was called a conspiracy theory. But sadly, we know that this cabal’s most significant effort—Russiagate—involved almost innumerable illegal acts of conspiracy, perjury, collusion, propaganda, and censorship. These were often requested and/or committed, not by a rogue staffer or two, but by top leadership in governmental agencies. The debate moderators didn’t ask a single question about or even mention what many call the greatest political scandal in our nation’s history.
Russiagate was not an isolated scandal that is now old news. Rather, it was a very large signpost showing a deep level of corruption within our government. That corruption has not faded away. Quite the contrary.
Given that Democrats, the media, and government agencies didn’t experience negative consequences for their behavior, they’ve now reached new, unprecedented lows in their willingness to ignore the law.
They target Republicans and conservatives for harassment and prosecution...

A candidate could have kick-started the debate on the first question, calling out the corruption enriching those men north of Richmond. A strong candidate would have pointed out that there is already enough evidence for any objective jurist or journalist to conclude that tremendous corruption enriched the Biden family. Far more evidence exists for this than was ever involved in the predicate for Russiagate.
A strong candidate could have refused to play along with the hand-show for the loyalty pledge and perhaps parried the question with a response, “It’s the wrong question. How about asking how we stop the DOJ persecution of political dissidents in the first place?” That likely would have been the most memorable line of the debates and drawn the most applause.
Democratic Voter Fraud is the biggest issue.
If that is not fixed it will not matter who the Republican candidate is—or what the other issues are.
An even stronger candidate would have addressed the massive election fraud that occurred not only in 2020, but in 2018 and 2022 as well.

It is ALL kabuki. This INCLUDES everything Trump.
That’s what happens when you put the Delusional Lying Left in charge of these whatever they are - circus events to spur the ratings of the host media - there is no recognizable true debate going on, and the most important issues are avoided.
The only thing that makes these worth watching is the presence of Trump who WILL talk about the most important issues regardless, because to him freedom is more important than compliance.
There are "black hats" in the GOP, too, which is a main reason (but not the only reason) that the Democrats can get away with the unprecedented corruption inside and outside of D.C. It's the reason that there is not much point in impeaching Biden since Biden's corrupt pals in the Senate will never convict him - Biden has his own illegal activities, but he is also very aware of the scams that senators from both parties are involved in. M.A.D.
When is that going to happen?
A strong candidate would not be limited to answering only questions posed by the moderator.
The moderator’s job is to moderate: that is make sure the discussion does not lead to fisticuffs.
Instead, the moderator is actually the controller and the weak candidates just go along to get along.

Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.So, the missing component in this “unholy alliance” (not incorrectly named) is the vast majority of the Republican Party’s politicians. But being one who does not even mention the F-word (fraud), perhaps Greg is merely performing kabuki theater on behalf of the Republican wing of what many term the “Uniparty”.
The candidates should have been asked, do you believe that Obama’s birth certificate is real? The communist cultural revolution began with his illegal election.
Why would they do that? They are part of the corruption if not beneficiaries of the corruption.

The only passion showed by the Moderators was when they pressured candidates to make statements critical of Trump.
That’s their Passion.

The “debate” was a BIG fail. The moderators had lousy topics and the participants failed to address the important topics satisfactorily.

I would really like to disagree with you—but I cannot.
Once election stealing became “normalized” and anyone who discussed it became called a “hater of democracy” and an “election denier” it was game, set and match.
They failed to talk about the Communist in the Whitehouse.
You nailed it. Dems have learned that they only need to cheat HEAVILY in ONE BIG CITY (or county) in WI, MI, PA, AZ, GA and NV to seal the deal. Just ONE per state.
The Post Office supplies the dems w/ boxes full of undeliverable mail ballots and the dems take it from there. Those ballots are real (but illicit); all that is needed are scribbled “signatures” and a heavily-guarded dark place to count them, away from the prying eyes of “vote-suppressing observers”.
That’s the simplicity of it; that’s how they do it. The simple solution is to force compliance w/ existing laws and procedures for equal access to the counting process.
Seems simple enough; but will anyone tackle it, as Kari Lake is trying to do?
