No weapon has been more in the public eye in America of late than the AR-15, in large part because of its tragic role in some of this country’s deadliest shootings.
The AR-15 has the dubious distinction of being America’s most popular semi-automatic rifle. I’m more familiar with the gun than most people: I own one. And one thing I know for sure is that this weapon doesn’t belong in the hands of the average civilian.

I used to work with a retired army airborne guy. He served two tours in Vietnam, and jumped out of airplanes until he destroyed his knees. He was against the “average” person owning semi-auto firearms.
I also worked with a lady whose husband was an armed NSA agent, who was required to be armed at all times. He was on the on-campus sniper team, when VIPs would visit. He and his wife were strongly against the private ownership of firearms.
Someone in their neighborhood made the mistake of revealing that he had an “arsenal” of 5 firearms, and 10,000 rounds of ammo. The lady said that he was sick for having such a large “arsenal”.
So, it appears that lots of people, who should know better.......don’t.
Why would I want to have one? I cannot afford a fully equipped aircraft carrier, so there’s that.
It probably doesn’t belong in the hands of someone as stupid or deceitful as Falone. Or any other gun.
But until he does something stupid with a gun his right to own one is sacrosanct. So is mine and my semi-auto is more powerful than his AR.

If I were to buy an AR, it would be to honor Kyle Rittenhouse; but I guess I’ll never be able to outshoot him so maybe I’ll just remain gunless.

What a gas bag. AR15s are considered small arms. The real motive is they want to outlaw semiauto rifles, which is all an AR15 is.
