And... at least in the primaries (the general election could be a different animal) all the banana republic style persecution of DJT is helping him. So if anything, the trail date actually helps him on Super Tuesday

It won’t matter that someday the Supreme Court may overturn that conviction. The presidency will be lost, and Pres. Biden will easily coast to re-election.
Think about it: This trial date isn’t to ensure that Trump is tied up for Super Tuesday; why tie him up for only one day? Haven’t the Democrats learned that the Republicans will rally around him?

That’s the Democrats’ plan. If it were MERELY that they wanted to tie him up, why not wait for just before the CONVENTION? They want to make sure he wins because they see the polls that say a convicted Trump would lose massive numbers of Republicans and even more Independents.
Trump’s explicit campaign message is “If I go to jail, America is lost. So elect me so I won’t go to jail.” But wouldn’t it make more sense to pick a nominee who can get elected and fix the broken justice system that would send Trump to jail?
War was declared against America some years back by the democrat party. Until we recognize and fight against it we will continue a downward spiral that will take generations to dig out from under.

If anyone beside Trump becomes the Republican nominee that is a clear sign that the people’s voice no longer matters. Only having Trump elected, someone the so called elites hate and don’t want, can show that the people have any power left in the system. Policy, at this point, is meaninglessness
Choosing our candidate by estimates of electability or conviction in a show-trial simply gives the Dems veto power over our vote. You want that?

1984 was last time CPUSA ran a Presidential Candidate. Since then they endorsed the ComDem Party candidate.

Sadly, there is not such a nominee. They are all RINOs at best, Rat-lites at worst, and all of them are career Uniparty politicians, nothing more than spineless, utterly useless bureaucrats. Unlike Trump, who truly cares about the country and is not in it for the money. If there was a single leader among the Republicans who actually had a pair of balls, who supported Trump when he was in office and during the last election, he would have accomplished SO much, and still be President. Instead, these useless POSes sat back and let him fight all on his own, then after he got cheated every single one of them did an about-face and revealed themselves as the traitors they are. They only care about their income, pensions, and cozy benefits; as far as they are concerned, the country can burn. Which it is, very quickly.
When I saw what happened in the corrupt 2020 election, I said to my family that there will never be another conservative president, since the Rats have shown how to blatantly steal an election and not suffer any consequences. I also said we are doomed as a nation, sooner rather than later. Sadly, I still stand by those statements, unless Trump manages to come through.
