Florida's Ron DeSantis was savagely booed off the podium at a vigil he attended for three black people killed at a Dollar Store during a racist mass shooting.
The Governor, 44, was called out by local councilmembers before taking to the mic himself and was met with overwhelming negativity from the crowd - as one heckler shouted: 'Your policies caused this!'
Councilwoman Ju'Coby Pittman called for better state funding before DeSantis took to the stage: 'Let's be honest, we don't get the money we should get.
'But when I ask for some money this week, we gonna get it.'
He said: 'Councilwoman, I gotcha, don't worry about it. We've already been looking to identify funds to be able to help one, security at Edward Waters College.
'We are not going to allow these institutions to be targeted by people-'
DeSantis then continued: 'We're going to be announcing some stuff tomorrow morning which I think will help, not only with security, but also an attempt to help these families.

Longer video shows that he wasn’t booed “off the stage”... If you look in the background, one black fellow circles to the back to boo instead of being respectful. This thing happens to any conservative that gets in a situation of up and personal crowds in predominately liberal voting areas. What do they think DeSantis did to cause this? I heard one black woman saying he once used the word “monkey”. It was not in a racial context at all.

Money cannot, never has, pulled bullets from the flesh, back into the barrel of the gun, or healed the wound and restored life. Regardless of the race of the person who fired the gun, or who was the unwilling recipient of that rude greeting.
“Better state funding”, what has that to do with a lone gunman who is intent on expressing a very negative opinion about another person who has somehow been found offensive to the perpetrator? One person’s bad attitude does not and should never be used to form a generalization about all persons of that specific classification. Hardened attitudes are not altered by being met with equally harsh responses.
