Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has defended himself from intense backlash after he called Democratic Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley and author Ibram X Kendi “modern grand wizards of the modern KKK”.
Mr Ramaswamy made the inflammatory statement during a campaign stop in Iowa after being asked by a voter asked if critics would blame him for white supremacy or call him part of it.
“The greatest racism that I have experienced…comes from the modern left at a scale unimaginable,” Mr Ramaswamy said.
He continued: “Ayanna Pressley, she’s in the Congress today. She’s a member of ‘the squad.’ Her words, not mine: ‘We don’t want any more Black faces that don’t want to be a Black voice. We don’t want any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice.’”

he’s right. the most racist people on the planet are the People who call everyone they hate racists. if ONLY there were republicans with the balls of pressley who would PROCLAIM OUT LOUD who the real racists are...but alas, there are none. our modern GOP is nothing but a crowd of milktoast benchwarmers only interested in enriching themselves on the taxpayers quarter(used to be a dime) and making hot air noises to their base voters ONLY to keep their gravy train going. seems to me the two party system has morphed into the uniparty, bent and intent on amassing power over the electorate, and the anybody who disagrees with them party, only interested in giving the electorate a voice in government. a voice liberals DEMAND be silenced. I went on Realclear and American Greatness. Hit a paywall for the first time. Even American Thinker interrupts with an ad covering a part of the posts. Why am I bringing it up here? These sites gotta pay the electric bill and there aren’t enough contributions like there are here on free republic. I turn the other way when asked. They all hit us up. Whether people can articulate it or not, I think the majority of people agree.
The last time I had the RNC call me I gave them a piece of my mind, very much aligned with your sentiment. Why should I give them a dime when they’re gutless cowards that don’t represent me? To be fair to the lady calling, she tried to convince me that “we can’t push for change unless we win and winning takes money”. My response was that giving to them will only perpetuate the status quo, maybe what needs to happen is that things need to get worse before they can get better - but I refuse to support such cowards.
I’ll keep saying it, we live in a time, yet again, where we have “taxation without representation”. It’s that simple. None of these people represent us, just having the title ‘representative’ is in name only, not by function. They spend our money unethically. They enrich themselves. Their main concern is reelection. It’s no wonder that Oliver Anthony’s song is so popular, it should be considered a canary in the coal mine. What’s interesting is that the song touches most people and not just us here in the USA...but everywhere.
