The survey asked registered Republicans, “Who do you think was the REAL winner of the debate?”
Twenty-two percent chose Ramaswamy, followed by 21 percent who said former President Donald Trump, despite the fact that he was not present at the debate. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis followed both Ramaswamy and Trump with 20 percent deeming him the “REAL” winner of the debate. No other candidate came close, as eight percent said former Vice President Mike Pence, six percent said South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, five percent chose former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, and three percent said former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum:

The survey also asked respondents whom they believe had the “BEST debate performance.” Again, Ramaswamy took the lead, as 28 percent said he had the best debate performance, followed by DeSantis (27 percent), Pence (13 percent), Scott (eight percent), Haley (seven percent), Christie (four percent), Burgum (three percent), and Hutchinson (two percent). p>The survey was taken among 504 registered Republicans who watched the debate and has a +/- 4.4 percent margin of error.
Indeed, Ramaswamy had a few breakout moments, facing off against Haley over her support of financial aid to Ukraine. During the exchange, Ramaswamy asserted that

I might not go that far, but I agree he’s not the real deal.
Having not been aware of him long, it seems to me he came
to hold his set of beliefs not all that long ago. I may
be wrong, but I do not see him as a long term staunch
Conservative.
It’s like there is something else oozing in around the edges,
I can’t fully put my finger on yet. That generally gets
worse in people I see this aspect in.
Ronald Reagan used to be a Democrat. Same thing with Donald Trump.

He gave quite a nice speech.
What investment? Ramaswamy never took so much as a nickel from George Soros.
I agree, but in Reagan’s case, it was back in the Jack
Kennedy day. Kennedy was Left of center, but he was
nothing like today’s Leftists, and Reagan saw where it
was going.
As for Trump, I think he hedged his bets more than really
bought into the Leftist ‘dream’. He saw what we do and
it grated him. His comments over the years were in
reaction to what he saw going on (IMO). It shocked him
to see where things were headed.
He glad-handed everyone, no doubt about it. When he came
down that elevator he was one of us.
I think he was a pragmatist and had been for a long long
time.
Quotes:
“I consider myself a contrarian,” Ramaswamy affirms. “I like to argue.”
The Kirkland House biology concentrator has quenched his thirst for debate through his involvement with the Institute of Politics and debating for the Harvard Republican Club.
“Vivek has a boundless capacity to get things done,” says friend Nicholas R. Green ’07.
Though described as fearless by his peers, when reflecting on his undergraduate career, Ramaswamy admits that he would’ve been “a little more tactful” if he could start over.
He offers rapper Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” as his life’s theme song. “I think that children should be forced to listen to it,” Ramaswamy says, “the edited version, of course.”

No!
It is a common belief on Free Republic, that Vivek is tied to George Soros, and or a tool of Soros, a Trojan horse is what some Freepers call him.
Quotes:
Vivek Ramaswamy: This may sound trite, but I believe it to be true: Entrepreneurship is the fabric of what America is all about. The recent resurgence in entrepreneurship is a resurgence of something quintessentially American. It has been responsible for driving this country in years past and will drive it forward in the future as well.
Ramaswamy: We observed, for example, that there were a lot of people at Harvard who were idea-driven but didn’t have technical skills to accomplish what they wanted to accomplish.
I see Trump more as a nationalist. I do not see him believing in the social issues. He became pro-life because he had to win the nomination in ‘16. If you look at Trump’s statements before 2000, he was pro-choice.
Are you aware that Twitter (X) is viewed world-wide, not just in the United States? You would get millions more viewers than voters or viewers of the Super Bowl.
A sobering reminder that the United States consists of just 4.23% of the world’s population.
Yet here we are, thinking that what we do could possibly change the climate of the planet or bring about world peace!
I think he has come a long way on the topic. I’ve heard him
talk up the lives of the unborn more than I every thought I
would.
I am also reminded, that we never get everything we want. He
is dead set on destroying the swamp, and right now that has
to happen. I’m not convinced any of the rest of them fully
understand what is going on.
It’s gone so far, they Left can do stuff right out in the
open, and the Republicans don’t even react.d
On another post just now, I mention the RNC, and asked
why they haven’t gotten Republican DAs to do the same
things against Biden that the Left is doing against Trump.
Our guys are nowhere to be seen. They allow the Left to
destroy Trump without so much as a whimper.
We have to have him.
Republican except for Dena Minning (D):
This is true. A lot of people thought Trump was a staliking horse for the Hildabeast.
I was going to vote for Cruz but changed my mind because I thought Trump was the only candidate who could win.
Vivek might, that is MIGHT, be similar but this isn’t his time.
