Isn't it funny how the Democratic Party is so quick to condemn "white supremacists" and call everything "racist"? In contrast, they are the ones who are actually dividing America further with their race-based agenda.
The largest newspaper company in the country, Gannett, is being sued for allegedly discriminating toward white employees in efforts to diversify its offices.
Last week, the proposed class action was filed in a Virginia federal court by five current and former Gannett employees who say they were fired or overlooked for promotions to make room for less-qualified women and minorities.
The company's "Reverse Race Discrimination Policy" has led non-minority employees to miss out on opportunities such as bonuses, awards, and promotions for Gannett to meet their diversity requirements.
"Gannett executed their reverse race discrimination policy with a callous indifference towards civil rights laws or the welfare of the workers, and prospective workers, whose lives would be upended by it," the plaintiffs said in the lawsuit.
According to the plaintiffs, a 2020 policy announcement led the company to cite goals of having its newsrooms reflect the demographics of the communities they cover by 2025.
In 2020, Gannett promised to "expand the number of journalists focused on issues related to race and identity, social justice and equality," according to USA Today— one of their hundreds of local media outlets across the U.S.
Starbucks, Target, and Progressive Insurance are among the companies that have gone out of their way to discriminate against white people and publicly advertise that they are seeking minority employees to join their team.
These companies have also faced lawsuits that challenge their diversity programs.
According to the Daily Signal, Steven Bradley, former sports editor for the New York-based Chronicle and one of the plaintiffs in the lawsuit, previously sued the company in April in state court for allegedly firing him because he is white. However, it is unclear the status of that case.
The plaintiffs are seeking Gannett to be required to eliminate the 2020 policy, along with lost pay and benefits and other money damages.

When “Useless hay today” took over my local fishwraps they basically becamse pay-per-view high school year books.
No serious investigations, hardly any government meetings reported upon.
Just gallery after gallery of HS football games, homecomings, musical, proms, and graduations.
I trust the racist newspaper loses big.
Their reporting is also anti-white with a vengeance! To hell with them.
Basing hiring and writing on things other than merit is apparent.
Outstanding!!!
Remember- Gannett were the ones that published the names and home addresses of every gun permit holder in America about 10 years ago
Daily newspapers aren’t offered for sale in my local mini-mart, and haven’t been for a number of years.
Jornalism died first.
Then merit.
Then arose discrimination.
Now we have ignorant racists with no talent, writing political hit pieces against whites, for companies with policies that approve no journalistic standards, poorly written stories, by preferred races who are not whote.
I thought it was impossible go discriminate against white people, and it’s certainly legal.

30 years ago I was working for a company which had government contracts. My manager flat out told me they couldn’t promote me because they had too many white male executives.
Two months later a got an offer from elsewhere for 50% more money. I took it.
If you look at the text of the legislation, it prohibits discrimination based on race, and does not give any race a favored position.
There have been a lot of successful lawsuits against racist libtards already because they hate white people
They published the name and address of every pistol permit holder in in Westchester and Rockland counties, New York, but not every gun permit holder nationwide. Still bad, of course.
The online story and interactive map were the work of Dwight R. Worley. I saw a claim that Mr. Worley wrote the story but had nothing to do with the map, but according to the gentleman's own resume, he implemented interactive maps for the Journal News in 2012 when this map was published.
Unsurprisingly, he now works for Google.
Thanks for the correction.
Funny side note- a Conservative site then posted Worley’s phone number (he lived in Queens i believe) and the name as well as address of every editor for Gannett (I remember the head editor lived in Virginia).
One of the local editors lived in a house on my way to work. I drove by the house and took a picture- a car then shot out of the driveway and tried to chase me down!!!
They don’t even print our “newspaper” in the state anymore, it is trucked in from New Joisy. We get our only print copy on Sunday, or maybe Tuesday.
