The freeper that started this reminds me of the verbal smackdown I delivered to a Californian who I sat next to on a flight about 10 years ago.

He was vocal in his distaste for Texans. I was able to carry on a conversation with him, because I grew up in the Bay Area. As we were preparing to land at DFW, he noticed the lakes/reservoirs in North Texas: "I didn't know Texas had so much water."
