This report reveals a severe bias in reporting.
This was nowhere near a record rainfall in most areas, and
as for wind, it was non-existent in two place I know of,
from San Diego to Northern Los Angeles.
I doubt that this is a record even for this date, but if it
is, it is nothing compared to the rain we had earlier this
year. The idea this is some sort of record is preposterous
unless you limit comparisons severely, and are solely intent
on misleading readers.
It was a non-event, a nothing burger. But as usual, the rabid leftists had to milk it for their insidious use.
You should know by now that whatever the event, It's one of the books you'll be telling your grandkids about. It's HISTORIC! It's EPIC! It's NEVER been seen in the HISTORY OF MANKIND!!! I wish we could get some of that rain. Fires all around us in Southern Oregon. Smoke so thick, hot and windy. Gives me the heeby jeebies! After a lifelong perfect driving record, I wrecked my car a few days ago. I’m not going anywhere!
The geography of Southern California was a blessing to some. The mountain ranges channeled the storm protecting some areas.
