I live in San Diego and have seen none of this. No rushes on stores. No empty shelves. No panic. No evacuation orders.
I have seen tons of old storm and flood videos on social media being passed off as Hurricane Hilary.

I live south of sac, and when the delta breeze is quiet, swelter takes on a new meaning.
Hammocks, ice tea and a hat over the eyes, don't get much done after 10 am, except in 20 minute intervals with a 1/2 hour break inside with the ac.
