The fires were among 36 blazes that erupted around the state in the past two days, although most were small and quickly contained...There wasn't any immediate word on what sparked the blazes. [Excerpt from the LAST two paragraphs of a moderately long article]

Antifa arsonists have returned from their Canadian ‘vacation’.
Can’t all be spontaneous.
Terrorism by fire.
“Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three times is enemy action”
Notice how all these fires, including the Hawaiian, started in separate places all at once. In Greece and Spain they finally admitted that they were arson. If the Climate Change Conspiracy Hoax doesn’t come naturally (and can’t), then the climate alarmist and Government help it along.
Don’t mention Antifa or BLM!! Coveted posters don’t like it! it was explained yesterday that I was lying about the fire I was in. None of it ever happened!!!
People can lie, humiliate, anything they want in FR.
Still the same old py to play bull crap as we got when we tried to fight illegal immigration years ago and got banned for it!
Republicans SUCK!
Trump deserves better..
Done with this circle jerk.

Good luck to that state. 28 years.
So glad to be in Michigan where sensible wildfire prevention is a high priority.
I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 1975. No real trees around the campus, and all buildings are brick or concrete. Would not expect there to be any fire danger. Smoke damage is another matter.
There’s a couple of things to remember about Eastern Washington.
One, they have been over 100° in most places east of the Cascades for the last 2 or 3 days
And Two, most of the people in eastern Washington absolutely HATE Governor Inslee. And what is Inslee’s biggest thing that he talks all the time?
Climate Change. Draw your own conclusions.
I’m sure the Greeniacs will be wailing about climate change causing this and not taking blame for years of fighting states like Washington to not clear dry brush and dead trees from their forest lands.
More like special government opps. These fires give the deepstate so much of what they want.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
“So glad to be in Michigan where sensible wildfire prevention is a high priority.”
Not sure why you are glad to live in Michigan that is governed by a whack job, Gretchen Whitmer. She’s insane. She’s ruining your State. It is a State of much geographical beauty however.
AuntB,
I haven’t been on the forum much but was happy today to see your name. Someone I know moved to Klamath recently from back East and loves it. So you’ve been on my mind when I recall the fight with Jeff Head a long time ago.

Probably just like Oregon:
Homeless.
What did they think was gonna happen? Frankly, I believe the left coast states want the fires.
One of my sons and his girlfriend just landed in Spokane and are driving to e boondocks in British Columbia. He texted that it’s smokey in Spokane, and now I see why. From what I saw online, there are lots of fires on B.C. too. Thanks for posting.
Within the last few weeks, Washington state quietly filed for federal permission to conduct controlled burns in several areas.
I am not aware of any controlled burns in this state for decades, but I could be mistaken.
