Former President Donald Trump maintains his large lead in the Republican presidential primary contest, as support doubles for Vivek Ramaswamy and Ron DeSantis hits a new low, according to a new Fox News national survey. Fifty-three percent of Republican primary voters prefer Trump, down a touch from 56% in June. That gives him a 37-point lead over DeSantis, who receives the backing of 16%. That’s down from 22% support in June and a high of 28% in February.

RE: according to a new Fox News national survey.
What’s the track record of this so-called survey?
I had never heard of Vivek Ramaswamy until he threw his hat in the ring. I have now see him interviewed on many channels. I am impressed with his ability to respond to difficult questions with long dissertations, without needing notes or cue cards, in rapid fire fashion. Me thinks the debates could help him.
This is exactly what lefties want, keep conservatives fighting among themselves, get Trump nominated, the indictments raise Trumps numbers with GOP while lowering them with independents=net result, we lose-Dem lefties win again
Yeah, his flip-flops are great...
Ramaswamy has recently emerged as a trenchant critic of wokeism in the corporate world. I saw him speak at the Nixon Presidential Library last night and was very impressed.
Scares me that a possible Soros, Hindu may be our next President.
Not anymore.
Not with Vivek’s announcement of “OH, it’s OKAY with me if China invades Taiwan.”
How DO THESE UNKNOWN, UNPROVEN wild persons come out from unknown places?
Was I in my bedroom when Vivek sprung out of the mist?
As for the money he purportedly took from the Soros family, Ramaswamy was upfront about it.
“In 2010, I won a scholarship when I was 24, 25 years old, headed to law school, that was partly funded by, not George Soros, but Paul Soros, who’s a relative, a brother of George Soros, who made his money independently, who, by the way, is now dead.”
Indeed, Ramaswamy is listed as a fellow on the website of the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans.
Ramaswamy added, “And you know what? If I had turned down that scholarship back then, that would’ve been so foolish that anybody that foolish probably should have no place anywhere near the White House doing trade deals on behalf of this country.”
Hard pass on Ramaswamy.
Are you supporting Ramaswamy.
If you are, this is a great surprise for me.
central_va, “I thought I knew ya.”
As long as you support President Trump’s America First...you are OK in my book.
Have a nice weekend.
“I see the ‘28 battle it as DeSantis vs Swamy”
Hopefully, by that time “Swamy” will have a come-to-Jesus moment re perverts being “hardwired” that way. I understand that he later walked that back in an attempt to appease most of us, but his first statement was from his heart.
It’s like DeSantis’ view on the Ukraine war being the same as Trump’s. The next day he had to walk that back to appease his donors. His first statement was correct, but he flip-flopped.
Being constant in your core beliefs is important.
If vilek wasn’t cool with transgenders in the military, he’d probably be a worthy candidate for 2028. But that alone is a wake up call. I’m surprised FREEPERS are fine with transgenders in our military.
How NOT to grow the party: Telling 18-25 year olds they can only vote if they take a test. Make BOOMERS take a test.
I am not voting Republican.
I am voting Trump.
Anyone else is just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.
I don’t care about room service or decorum.
Our country is in danger of sinking.
Will fraud prevent any R nominee from winning?
Yes, I think so.
But I’m going into the final battle with the man they fear.
Is he perfect?
Of course not. No candidate is.
Will he fight until the last breath?
Absolutely.
Trump is a freakin’ Honey Badger and doesn’t fear them.
I’m voting Trump.
The Hindu talks great.
He also has the stench of the WEF/Soros/new world order all over his Brahmin hide.
Just like Romney smelled to high heaven of the deep state.
And McCain stunk of corruption.
I’m voting Trump.
