An IRS special agent was killed during an accidental shooting by another agent during a training exercise Thursday, according to ABC15 sources.
In a statement released Thursday evening, FBI officials confirmed they are investigating the death of an IRS special agent but did not share further details about what led up to the incident.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) says it is investigating a "shooting incident" at the Federal Correctional Institutional (FCI) Phoenix firing range Thursday afternoon but could not confirm additional details.
The FBOP says the gun range was being utilized by multiple federal agencies at the time.
The IRS has confirmed that an agent was taken to the hospital after the incident and did not survive.
ABC15 sources say the special agent was shot by a fellow agent.

Back in 1992, when I was in my 20’s, I got into a heated argument with a Colorado Dept of Revenue azzhole who tried to intimidate and bully me over a few hundred dollars. I pissed him off so badly that he blew up and threatened me over the phone. I can’t imagine pigs like that guy with a weapon. However, to be fair, I needed to work with the IRS to fix a mistake they made, back in 2015. They were as nice and helpful as could be. Weird.

He should not be put on the raid team, but should be put in charge of internal fire arms safety for the raid teams.

A thought: Why do any non-uniform wearing federal employees require guns? The FBI and whatever non-military agency should be required to use local resources when firearms may be required.
Because they will not be entering a corporate building to do an audit, they will be on every front porch of every conservative in the nation looking for their pound of illegal flesh while inflicting excruciating pain.
