There Is No Endgame To Continuing To Relitigate the 2020 Election. It’s a Dead End.
Legal Insurrection, All Rights Reserved. ^ | Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 01:00pm | William A. Jacobson

Posted on 08/16/2023 12:08:49 PM PDT by Behind Liberal Lines

I think he’s in a lot of legal trouble, and I’ve been saying this...for a while and people, you know, attack that. But hey, I live in the real world and the real world is telling us that Donald Trump has a lot of legal problems. He’s probably going to get convicted in one or more of these cases. And people need to wake up and people need to understand what’s happening. And people also need to understand that, while he is not to blame for the hyperpartisan actions of the prosecutors, he left himself very vulnerable. He handed a lot of this stuff to them on a silver platter, and they are now exploiting it. It’s a bad situation.

And now he’s going to roll out, apparently Monday, a new report about Georgia election fraud. I mean, are you kidding me? It’s two and a half years later.

What is the endgame here? Trump supporters don’t seem to understand, what is your endgame? There is no process to decertify an election that took place two and a half years ago. The way you stop this growing totalitarianism is to win the next election, but everything they’re doing is set up to lose the next election. You’ve got to win the next election because Fani Willis and Alvin Bragg and Jack Smith are just the first of a wave of totalitarian attacks using the law enforcement and prosecutorial powers of the state that’s coming our way.

If Trump is a patriot, he needs to be a martyr to the MAGA movement and throw his support to DeSantis.

And we all lived happily ever after. BS!

So President Trump has been indicted for trying to overturn an election by voicing his opinion that it was rigged. Now he has an actual court room to hear and see the evidence in his defense that he was not trying to overthrow the election but was trying to save it. And, this moron author can’t get it? Two and a half years late he says...well this is the first time we will get to truly present evidence in court. It is not the Presidents fault it is two and a half years after the election. Many good people have tried right after the election. They have been persecuted by the democrats and their media to the point of losing their freedom, losing their wealth, careers, etc. And this weak kneed POS thinks he has some worthy opinion? Only cowards, which there are plenty here, who will do anything to reduce their own personal risk, including abandoning those who have sacrificed everything to save this nation. They have no shame.

What a disappointment from this jerk, Jacobson.

Oh, Okay, Let’s just forget about the worst corruption case in the history of USA.

What a FIGHTER, he is...What a believer in JUSTICE, he is...what a JERK, he is.

Let’s all forget about it and dance off to bed, secure in the knowledge that there are only a FEW who could withstand the rotten direction the LAW, right up his alley, has taken.

Complete chaos in Nordstroms...MORE complete chaos in our fabulous JUSTICE DEPARTMENT.

I don’t like Trump and I wouldn’t vote for him again, but I think he has not only the right but the duty to keep fighting this. There’s a lot more at stake here than just Trump’s second term - it’s the validity of our entire system.

If people don’t think that our elections are honest they’ll stop accepting the results of any election. This election had so many statistical anomalies and so many strange incidents that every aspect of it needs examination.

And he’s not “re litigating” any thing, because it was never litigated to begin with…all the court cases were thrown out on technicalities and never even made it to the courtroom.

What Trump is actually asking for is his day in court and his chance to be heard in a legal forum. I honestly don’t see how he is doing anything but asking for his rights as an American.

You shouldn’t vote for Trump. God knows that low-cost fuel, energy independence, our kids not dying for countries who hate us, reasonably priced groceries, respect in the world, etc., are intolerable. Let’s get someone in there who can and will further Biden’s policies.

So you actually believe that Trump the sitting president, an American citizen, and whose name appeared on the ballot in every state, had “NO STANDING?”
Please take a very deep breath and recognize that those “NO STANDING” rejections were caused by Democrat intimidation of the Supreme Court.
It is THE court for matters of federal law that cross state borders which is what a presidential election comes under.
You don’t have any idea of what you are talking about.

“Trump won’t be on the ballot and he won’t be able to campaign from prison.

I expect they will put him in ADX Florence and not allow him to communicate with anyone.”

That's what the Texas v. Michigan case is all about.

Please show me where, in the Constitution, one State Legislature (Texas) has rights over another State's appointment of Electors (Michigan).

You can't, because they don't.

And Trump? There is nothing, absolutely nothing, about "running for President", "candidate for President", "appearing on ballots" and so forth in the Constitution because there are no Presidential elections in the Constitution.

The designers of the Electoral College method of appointing Presidents would have been horrified at the notion that a sitting President (or any other citizen) had special rights regarding how any State Legislature went about its business.

“No message matters ....Do you think those RATs are all wee we’ed up over a stupid winning message? They aren’t, because they don’t get a choice. The democrats aren’t worried because they have goobers like [some FReepers] who still think [there will be] free and fair elections [in 2024 and beyond].

Only foolish GOPe followers are still naïve enough to think they can send out some nitwit stooge to talk tax cuts and open borders lying through their teeth while pimping endless wars to pay their donors back by enriching them.

Thanks for spelling it out to some of the people with their heads in the sand, or brain-trained by the 24/7 media-demonkkrap machine. I was starting to wonder what is happening with some of the FReepers There is fight going on for the soul of our country, and the GOPe is not in the leadership position. But some of them are in positions to make the fight harder, and they need to be pushed out as well.

The endgame is to make sure as many people as possible KNOW it was a stolen election. Of course, it’s not getting overturned. But the truth must be revealed and people need to not only realize that, but also realize WHO has been lying to them the whole time. The Democrat Party shouldn’t be allowed to exist if people knew the truth. That’s the endgame.

So many people on FR don’t want to hear reality. We are losing elections bc of it. Truth is folks here are creating oun problems bc most care more about calling out the ideologically impure than than winning an election. Problem is if you don’t concentrate on winning elections & running a smart campaign (which moves the voting populace closer to your worldview), eventually you will lose everything & there won’t be any more elections. Too many people here focused SOLELY on one man & the issues he wants to talk about. Yes, we should oppose the establishment point of view in our own party, but there are equally important things that need attention 🙄

I’m voting for Trump the same as I did the last 2 times- but he has proven terrible at running a campaign. It looks more & more like 2016 was a fluke 🙄
