The world is on fire.
The devastating wildfires in Maui have led to at least 99 deaths with many hundreds more people unaccounted for and injured. We have seen homes and livelihoods destroyed and hospitals overwhelmed with smoke and burn victims.
These wildfires, fanned by winds from Hurricane Dora after years of drought, have undoubtedly been made worse by climate change.
We need to wake up to the fact that climate change is driving a vicious cycle of extreme weather conditions that are killing people. Without a doubt, the climate crisis is also a health crisis.
We must start reducing our greenhouse gas emissions immediately. We must invest in human well-being, such as resilient health systems that can ensure adaptation to the growing burdens of disease and impacts of extreme weather and heat that are killing us daily.
We are facing a choice. And our leaders are making the wrong one. Our very human survival is on the line. We can choose differently, and we must.
The apocalyptic challenges we confront today reflect a third pandemic — one of poor and expedient choices by world leaders, the private sector and a powerful few who drive the decisions that continue to harm our planet and its population.
We must pivot to a new ambitious path. Otherwise, our health and our survival are in peril.

Why the "Long Face" Vanessa? Chin up.
I doubt that.
She’s right directed energy weapons are bad for your health. 😏
This global warming is really affecting me.
I drink 95 ounces of water per day, and only urinate 12 ounces.
The paint melted off my two cars. My windows at home are
looking like they’re five decades older than they are.
Water hitting my sink sounds a lot like the word Monsanto.
The people on my block have given up trying to keep their
property up. You get fined if you use more than a thimble
full of water on your lawn, and using more than half a
thimble full to clean up, is considered a firing squad
against a wall over a ditch precursor.
Children are only able to drink on alternate days. They
shower once on alternate weekends.
Every one in the nation has moved five block back from the
beaches. The water is coming, the water is coming.
Every day is a new world record for the hottest day since
the Woolly Mammoth roamed the Garden of Eden.
Meanwhile, Obama has two properties near the ocean. Biden
has at least one. Martha’s Vineyard has many of them. Long
Island does.
Many places around do, and you know what, insurance
companies are standing in line to sell each of the
owner’s insurance.
The hasn’t been one single personal leer jet class
aircraft grounded. There’s no mandatory testing each
year to make sure they are smog checked.
There are more climate summits than you can keep track
of, and each one is attended by people who flew one
jackass to a flight.
John Kerry’s wife sold their personal family jet, but
please don’t describe it that way. John didn’t own
a jet like that. His spouse did, so he’s sure he’s
off the hook.
The claims about global warming are so bazaar, that even
scientists have had enough, and are speaking out about
lies and fraud being perpetrated.
One thing is still on track though, doing it to the...
oops, for the children is still a great slogan.
The Alex Jones show today clears it up.

The subtlety of catastrophic mismanagement is beyond some people’s skill set to conclude foul play. Arson, or arson by proxy? Too complicated for some. I say look at who owns the property a few months or a year from now and you’ll know who’s responsible.
What are the basic crime solving questions? - Who benefits? Was there intent?
