As of Tuesday, there were over 230 active wildfires in the territory, and five communities had been evacuated. Hundreds of northerners were being airlifted from at least three communities in the face of wind-whipped wildfires.
“Over the past 24 hours or so there has been an airlift like this territory has never seen,” Northwest Territories fire information officer Mike Westwick said Monday. “Planes flying out of Hay River, planes flying out of Fort Smith, planes flying out of Jean Marie River.”
“The highways are compromised. It’s a very serious situation,” he added.
Jane Groenewegen was helping a friend leave the hamlet of Enterprise just south of Hay River on Sunday evening when Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers knocked on the door.
“They said, ‘No, you have to evacuate immediately.’ It was probably only 30 to 45 minutes after that when basically the entire town of Enterprise burned down,” she said in a phone interview.

90% of forest fires are man-caused. Carelessness is the biggest cause of man-caused fires. Campers, campfires, and cigarettes are the most common causes.
Lightning is a major cause.

Lightening is a reasoned cause, but it doesn’t strike in
15-20 places and start fires all at one time.
You’ll get a strike here, a strike there, a few more strikes,
but they take place over a half hour or so.
These all started at exactly the same time. They weren’t
all in a line like a front just came through either, causing
unstable weather conditions.
Plus there is nothing more reliable to make a BIG wildfire than an intentionally set one, with all the benefits of the expanding craft.

Look, even when you speed up video, you see a new fire
starting up with less of a smoke trail. You don’t see a
progression of new fires over time. You see the fires all
start, all the columns of smoke build, and they blow off
in the distance remaining the same length.
These started at the exact set-upon time.

I’ve read articles about using fire as a weapon. You
tie up lots of resources, disrupt normalcy, and you cause
mass perceptional trauma in the public.

No doubt. Well I’m sure there is all of that, but sadly they might not even need to take their own action or delay for the agenda. Simply by media hyping wildfires on big plasma TVs for the sake of global warming hysteria, the media is stimulating pyrophiliacs to fantasize about setting their own wildfires and seeing them covered on TV.
