Because nothing prohibits him from running from a jail cell, and he would still meet all Constitutional requirements for POTUS. He could win if he gets enough votes. It’s not possible these days to overcome election fraud simply by means of election majority.
The election outcome will simply be delayed as long as necessary in order to produce a sufficient number of fraudulent ballots in order to declare a winner.
This is why every Voter who supports conservative values must insist on imprisonment for those guilty of election fraud and racketeering. any effort otherwise to dismiss election fraud is not just a means of defeating Trump, but a means of support to election interference and a means of democrat victory.

The snag here is that we vote for people who don’t really support conservative values and who turn a blind eye toward the problem. So there’s never any efforts at accountability.
