Yes we are heading to a crisis, NO doubt about it. The ONLY question is: How will the American people react.

The ONLY question is: How will the American people react.

First, they would have to notice. Would mean pausing video games, lattes and soap operas.

The problem is that the Republican party will do nothing in this crisis except exacerbate the crisis or worse help the enemies of freedom, their good friends across the aisle the Democrats.

I really don’t think a political party is going to do much for this crisis it will be the people or states that step in. The hard question is will they and if so what will be the triggering event and what actions will they take. Interesting times...

"How will the American people react."

Once they realize if they protest, they're jailed or worse, but doing nothing results in the same, you have men and women with nothing left to lose.

“The ONLY question is: How will the American people react.”

************

It doesn’t seem like many Americans really care. Very little concern about freedom and too much bread and circuses to distract them. Plus the liberal propaganda machine is very effective.

The Founding Fathers would be deeply dismayed at what we’ve allowed to happen to the country and our disregard for the governing principles they bequeathed to us.

“Yes we are heading to a crisis, NO doubt about it. The ONLY question is: How will the American people react.”

Venezuela: The corrupt leftist, Nicolas Maduro, arrested his political opponent, Juan Guaido, during the 2019 election cycle. The people protested but Maduro was supported by the courts, the media and the military.

Brazil: The corrupt leftist, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Lula), arrested his political opponent, Jair Bolsonaro, during the 2020 election cycle. The people protested but Lula was supported by the courts, the media and the military.

I expect the same thing will happen in the USA.

How will the American people react

They can move, this is not like earlier where everyone lived at home. If you want you can move anywhere in the world and many areas which you may want to live has nice grocery stores, banks, internet, doctors. You can move a lot of places now that may not be home but its a heck of a lot better than things may be soon in America.

How will the American people react.

That's the key question. People are just now starting to pay attention to this, but normalcy bias is going to be hard to overcome.

But this is not anything like normal, and IMHO the key to survival will be having enough people realize soon enough that this would be the end of the constitutional order and the rule of law.

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

A HUGE majority will bow down and lick the feet of their “betters”. If the American people haven’t made a serious attempt to stop this creeping cancer on our country since 1865, what are the chances they will NOW?

Sadly you are seeing all you are likely to from the public, only Antifa types will do anything other than complain, that they can't do that, it is unconstitutional.

The American public in general and American conservatives in specific are apathetic and basically lazy. There is just too much effort reqired to resist.
