Not true. Presidents have pardoned lots of people in the past convicted in state courts.

“Presidents have pardoned lots of people in the past convicted in state courts.”

Which president, which state and who were these people that were pardoned by a president for charges or convictions in state courts?

Presidents have NO power to pardon anybody convicted in state courts convicted of state crimes. Only state governors have that power.
