Georgia grand jury hands up 10 indictments in Trump 2020 election investigation
New York Post ^ | August 14, 2024 | Samuel Chamberlain

The Georgia grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in the Peach State handed up 10 indictments Monday night.

After approximately 10 hours of hearing testimony and voting on potential charges, the bill was presented to Fulton County Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney, who signed off on the charges shortly before 9 p.m.

Hours earlier, the court clerk’s office appeared to prematurely post the potential charges Trump was facing in the case.

The prematurely posted docket included 13 counts against the 77-year-old former president, including violation of the Peach State’s anti-racketeering law, conspiracy, false statements and asking a public official to violate their oath of office.

It was unclear when the actual indictment would be unsealed by the clerk’s office, nor was it immediately known whether Trump or his key allies like former Mayor Rudy Giuliani would be charged in the case.

Nothing says "rigged" like posting the results of the vote before the vote.

The prosecutors in these cases are doing great damage to our justice systems and our nation.

(Many are too intimidated to fight back against the trump cult. )

So you think all those 75+ million people (probably 85 million if the truths known) that voted for Trump is a cult?

But unless we can end the scourge of one party using the legal system to attack the other party’s candidates our nation will descend into tyranny.

Pretty soon you won’t be able to speak your mind about anything unless it agrees with the official government position of course. This is not about Trump it is about the totalitarian takeover of America.

There's a handful of posters on this thread who won't understand your point.

Anti Trump Freepers don’t care about Trump, they just want to get back to “winning” with Bush, McCain, and Romney types.

Completely wrong. All of us pretty much used to support Trump, years ago. And we want him to win these trials. But that doesn't mean we want him for President.

He's just become a complete liability, at this point. A negative cost/benefit ratio. You're a banker, supposedly, so Trump is deep in the red. And getting deeper. At some point, you cut the cord.

As for McCain and Romney, Trump endorsed them both, some more than once, so don't point your finger at me. I held my nose both times. They're not true conservatives, just like Trump isn't.

I want a conservative for President. Not a perpetual victim, whose only way out of this hell hole will eventually be some sort of violent uprising probably. Forget it. I'm already off that train, now. I just want him to win these cases so we don't all get smeared over it, forever.

Do a google search. You will find your answers.
Here is just 1 example:

Frederic B. Ingram – Heir from Tennessee, convicted of bribing government officials in Illinois in 1977; jailed for 16 months.[30] His sentence was commuted by Carter in December 1980.

Ed Rollins? Another fossil in American politics.

Get all the geriatrics on a bus. Then drive it out of town and let them wander in the woods.

Besides, end of day, we’ll all be rallying around the eventual Republican nominee in about one year.

Really? I'm not going to vote for John Kasich, or Chris Christie, or Mike Pence, or a number of other candidates who in theory could end up being the Republican nominee.

Are you thinking of voting for Ms. Cheney if she ends up as the nominee?

February 17th, 2024, Trump is now fighting 226 federal
indictments with 23,710 different supposed violations of
the law.

His maximum sentence is 423 lifetimes.

147 judges who will be hearing these cases, have agreed
that these are a lowball effort to take Trump down. It
should have been much worse.

They do believe he should be given a fair trial, and they’ve
already come up with a verdict based on that premise.

TRUMP--greatest President in my life of 83 years.

Trump the ONLY president who did not start stupid foreign wars or continued asinine foreign wars with borrowed money

Trump the only president who actually built a substantial wall on southern border in spite of resistance from deep state.

Trump gave us record low unemployment, record low gas prices, record low inflation.

Trump nominated 3 good persons to SCOTUS.

Trump gave us biggest tax cut in history.

Trump stopped N Korea from launching rockets with just personal relationship with Kim. Meatball Ron has no such personality.

Putin did not invade anybody when Trump was president.

Trump built strongest US military in history.

Ah, don’t make me puke. No way Kasich, Christie, Pence, Cheney get the nomination! I’ll even say the same for Ramaswamy, Haley, Johnson, Stapleton, Hutchinson, Scott, Saurez, Elder, Burgum, or Hurd. Half I’ve barely heard of and bet that 99% of US would not know any either.
