The tracker will not only tell how many miles you drove but where you drove as well. THEN, it will be required for ICE drivers to have them installed as well. Only to make sure that EV drivers aren't been over-charged, of course.

“Utah DOT an app that makes your driving safer and more productive “
We’re from the Government and we’re here to help….comrade.
Watch them require it for all cars “in the interest of fairness”. They will do this and the state gas tax will stay so ICE cars get double charged.

And if they can track location in real time, they can tell how fast a vehicle is traveling at any moment on any given piece of road. If that happens to be over the posted speed limit for that road, well...
To: CFW
And then they’ll say you’ve driven enough, we’re shutting you down.

This gets the camel’s nose under the tent. Then it will be GPS trackers on ALL vehicles.

Don’t EVs have an odometer? Can the state not use that reading rather than track our collective a$$e$ all over the state? Purely academic question of course.

blatantly unconstitutional under 4A - not that Traitor Roberts cares.

The per-mile tax was first investigated in Oregon.
Fascinating.
