In the midst of former President Donald Trump facing federal charges for his statements about the 2020 presidential election, Senator Rand Paul wonders why government officials on the opposite side of the political spectrum with criminal accusations don’t face punishment.
The senator zeroed in on two examples: first son Hunter Biden, who is in the center of speculation about his overseas business dealings that allegedly include his president father, Joe Biden, and former White House top doctor, Anthony Fauci.
“One of the things that annoys people more than anything else, is like, why do any people on their side never get prosecuted?” Paul said on Friday at the annual conference for the libertarian youth organization, Young Americans for Liberty.
“How come Hunter Biden’s not in jail?” he asked.
“Why is Anthony Fauci not in jail?” Paul added.
Paul recently requested that the attorney general investigate Fauci for allegedly lying before Congress, when he told a Senate committee in 2021 that the US did not fund gain-of-function research in China possibly involving COVID-19. Now that recently obtained documents seem to indicate that the US did fund such research, which was illegal at the time, and that Fauci was aware of it, many Americans want to see repercussions.
If true of Hunter Biden or Fauci, one would think this would attract serious attention from the federal government. To date, this hasn’t occurred.
Paul sees a dangerous double standard.
“It’s because there simply is two sets of justice,” Paul said Friday night. “And it’s something that’s driving the country apart.”
“We are becoming a balkanized nation, where people don’t believe they will get justice,” he added. “That’s a bad problem. That’s a recipe for disaster for the country if you don’t feel like you will be treated justly.”

Just seconds ago I was retorting to occupy democrats on their stupid Twitter sight. They were crowing about the communists (might as well be) in Oregon banning a huge group of Republican politicians from running again. They had refused to attend a session as protest.
I pointed out democrat politicians have done the same thing numerous times and at numerous locations. Of course their reply was silence.

What Rand Paul doesn't say here is that he is 1/535th responsible for the downslide in the United States.
In this representative republic we elect 535 individuals to write laws and manage oversight of existing law! Those 535 elected officials have failed miserably in their responsibility. If the executive, and his justice department through him, can thumb their collective noses at the law then there is no law!!! There is no representative democracy! The Constitution outlines what the citizens have the 'right and duty' to do to correct this atrocity!!!
There is no justice in America. Compare the way the Blacks were treated after their BLM riots, destruction and murders with the way the J6 protestors who didn’t kill anybody were treated. The RATS have weaponized what once was the justice system against white Americans. Say anything you like. Just don’t say anything you don’t like. Amerika is now a carbon copy of the old Soviet Union. The communists have taken control by promising EVERYTHING to any freeloaders who will support them.

How true! and while the communist are taking over what is the republican party doing to stop them other than making abortion laws stronger? The answer is nothing!
Why is it that abortion is the hill the republicans want to die on? The facts are the communist and their supporters are the largest group that kill their children before birth so why do the republicans spend all of their political capital making laws that stop their enemy from destroying themselves.
