Fox News host Sean Hannity closed out a discussion about abortion by suggesting the Republican Party is too far to the right on the issue as far as the rest of the country is concerned.
Hannity pointed to Tuesday’s vote in Ohio, where voters rejected a ballot measure (57% to 43%) that would have raised the threshold for amending the state’s constitution from a simple majority to 60%. Supporters of the initiative hoped it would pass to thwart a November ballot measure that, if approved, will enshrine abortion protections in Ohio’s constitution.
“We saw the vote in Ohio,” he told guests Mike Huckabee and Tudor Dixon on Thursday before floating the idea that abortion bans before 15 weeks of pregnancy repel some voters. “The fear among many, many conservatives is this will chase away many suburban voters. Do you agree with that, Mike Huckabee?”
Huckabee rejected this and suggested Republicans simply have a messaging problem.

Hannity is a New York City “conservative”, just one step to the right of an extreme left-wing liberal who thinks that makes them a right winger.
Indeed.
And thank you for spelling it correctly. Too few can manage that.
Yes ... let's get rid of the laws against murder, rape, robbery, assault, fraud, and child molesting.
You can't legislate morality.
HANNITY has fallen to the LEFT.
Hannity is liberal???? What the heck???
Huck’s got it right.
GOP has lost everywhere this has had a direct vote, including in states such as Montana, Kentucky, Kansas.
I’m sorry, but banning abortion is a big political loser, that much is very clear at this point.
You state, “Hannity is a big neocon, and a bore. His three-hour radio show is one hour of commercials, one hour of him talking about himself, and if you’re lucky, one hour of substance.”
Bingo! It is laughable to hear talk show types brag how they have a three hour program. It is noteworthy that the two mushballs who have taken Limbaugh’s time slot have many visitors on their show, something that Rush rarely did. He could carry a program. They can’t, not even for the two hours they are on the air.
🔝🔝🔝
Murdoch Moloch speaks.
(Hannity? Pffft...what does God say?)
Thank you
✝️🙏🛐
If murdering offspring is the linchpin issue in a society, it’s a failed society and elections won’t fix anything.
I was thinking the same thing
Hmmmm, so I guess every talkshow host in the country who has a "visitor" or two on can't carry their program. Pffffffffft. Limbaugh was all about limbaugh and no one else, his ego filled the space, there wasn't any room for anyone else. People are interested in what senators, etc i.e. "visitors" have to say. Why don't you get your own three hour program and show us how it's done, hmmmm???? Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft. SMH.
The "No" campaign put an emphasis on saving Ohio's constitution rather than on abortion.
And, as Sundance has eluded to, has zipper problems that allow the Murdochs and Republican establishment to keep him in line with their agenda.
No, the left moves ther agenda and take the short term L, because they know “conservatives” are weak fags that will never reverse anything.
eg. Obamacare, Medicare, Great Society, Civil Rights
These are not small incremental wins. They are massive structural wins that totally upended the society to the benefit of the left.
They moved their agenda incrementally to set up the Big Wins. You missed it! The “playing field” was prepared long before the “victories”. The “field” was so well prepared the “wins” seemed “natural”, inevitable, nothing but modern progress!
They passed Obamacare knowing they would lose.
Lyndon Johnson passed civil rights knowing he would lose.
That’s the point !
They pass big things, and are willing to take the short term L because they are permanent changes.
Take a lesson from the enemy and boil the frog slowly.
Precisely what they should have done. Conservatives never believe they've shot themselves in the foot, but they sure as hell have here.
