That’s Upper Volta to you.

Not to be confused with Lower Volta.

Or with the Upper Volga. With missiles.

I got one for you that is off-topic but you need it.

Twitter has a couple of people that have started calling Chris Christie “The Crisco Kid”.

Part of this goes to the permanent staff disfunction of the US State Department whether it is in a R administration or D administration the State Department gets it wrong.

[by telling the US: “We don’t want your money, use it to fund a weight loss program for Victoria Nuland.”]

Oh no. That’s GOT to be a joke. They didn’t, did they?

All that's missing is for them to hold up ice cream cones, like those Taliban guys.

Niger is slipping away from the West

"Niger" and "the West"? I see a problem here.

Take any Western man and parachute him into Niger - it would be like going through a wormhole to a different planet.

The notion that Niger, in any way, shape, or form is part of "the West" is a species of insanity. The average Western woman wants 0-1 child, the average Nigerois woman wants 9.

If they think we’re “bullies” they are going to love being under the Russo-Chinese umbrella, LOL

Not all peoples have the same value structure.

Engagement with "the West", the US in particular, demands buttsex and child mutilation. This is not true of Russian or Chinese engagement.

“This is not true of Russian or Chinese engagement.”

Yet, the Russians and Chinese will still make their own particular demands. Demands which aren’t generally the kind people are happy about. There’s no such thing as a free lunch, which Niger may soon find out.

I actually think that Soviet style government is well suited to Africa.

Americans, in particular, are very disturbing to clan-oriented low IQ peoples.

I think the concept is used as the previous government was seen as in the pay of “the West” however the French are more active than us.
