Ron DeSantis has replaced his campaign manager Generra Peck, in what is the third major reshuffling of his operations, a campaign spokesperson and a person familiar with the move confirmed to POLITICO.
Peck will be shifted to a role of chief strategist as part of the new order. Taking her place atop the campaign will be James Uthmeier, who has served as chief of staff in DeSantis’ governor’s office.

Additionally, David Polyansky, who previously served as chief of staff for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and was most recently an adviser at the pro-DeSantis super PAC Never Back Down, will join the campaign.
“David Polyansky will also be a critical addition to the team given his presidential campaign experience in Iowa and work at Never Back Down. We are excited about these additions as we continue to spread the governor’s message across the country. It’s time to reverse our nation’s decline and revive America’s future,” Romeo said.

Hold on a second. You told me last week that the polls showing DeSantis getting drubbed by our Glorious Leader was fake news. So explain how he's now under performing.

If he totally removed the campaign manager from the campaign then a fresh start is possible.
He also needs to fire all the “consultants” who are getting rich off the campaign while it crashes and burns.
He is just shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic at this point.

What it’s showing is that there is infighting among his consultants on how to grift people to keep the campaign going and the money coming in.
The fact that he’s keeping people on, instead of letting them go completely, shows desantis is desperate to create the image his campaign has re-booted.....

good question. There are certainly internal discussions and deliberations in the campaign, which we don’t know about. It seems clear they don’t think things are going well in the campaign.
Feels like re-arranging the deck chairs…

It seems it’s the desantis supporters/nevertrumpers that say
polls don’t matter when they show Trump leading desantis by 30-40 points....
but polls show Trump losing to biden, but desantis can beat biden matter and Trump supporters voting for Trump will lead to another 4 years of biden.....
Of course it’s being two faced with their stance, but that doesn’t seem to bother desantis supporters/nevertrumpers from saying that.
