WXIX19, my local news channel... Just FRAMED THIS AS ANTI ABORTION, AND URGED PEOPLE TO GO VOTE NO. Yep, the "news channel" openly took a side.

Pretty different from when I went to journalism school 40 years ago, back in the "YOU just REPORT THE FACTS" era.

Voting is unusually heavy for an interim election. Huge amounts of money from out of state mounted a substantial advertising blitz starting over a month ago iirc, framing it as an attempt by extremists to destroy democracy by eliminating majority rule, and yes it’s all about abortion. That last part they got partially right. But nobody is denying it.
