We spend a profound amount on the social welfare aspects of our military. Male soldiers marching around in identical pairs of red high heels? Who paid for thousands of pairs? Flying females around for abortions? Building labor and delivery rooms on Ford class carriers? DEI workshops, etc etc.
And then the gold plated gold plate on many of our weapons systems. Some of it is good and useful, but much more of it is only beneficial to the defense contractors.
