The energy decline of the United States has been one of the most prominent features of Joe Biden’s tenure in the White House. New reporting raises the question: Is all of this deliberately orchestrated in coordination with America’s enemies?
According to previously undisclosed meetings revealed in internal Energy Department calendars obtained by Americans for Public Trust (APT) and shared with Fox News, U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm met with her Chinese counterpart, China National Energy Administration Chairman Zhang Jianhua, right before the administration’s 2021 announcement that it would release oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to fight nationwide high gas prices caused by Biden’s own energy policies.
While the content of these meetings is not known, the news suggests that the White House may have discussed its plans with Beijing and was thus influenced by the communist regime in making policy decisions that have weakened America’s energy independence while simultaneously strengthening China’s global position.
Per the calendars, Granholm spoke with Jianhua, who is a longtime member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), on Nov. 19, 2021. They had another conversation on Nov. 21.
Only two days later, on Nov. 23, the Biden administration made its announcement that it would be releasing 50 million barrels of SPR oil — which at the time constituted the largest such release in the country’s history.
APT Executive Director Caitlin Sutherland told Fox News that the timing of the meeting raises questions about CCP influence on the federal government.
“Secretary Granholm’s multiple closed-door meetings with a CCP-connected energy official raise serious questions about the level of Chinese influence on the Biden administration’s energy agenda,” Sutherland said.
She added, “Instead of focusing on creating real energy independence for America, Granholm has been too busy parroting Chinese energy propaganda...

Does a bear poop in the woods...?
To me, it indicates that China is going to invade Taiwan, in a flash invasion. Try to take it over in a couple of weeks.
No big deal. It’s easier to say you’re sorry than to ask for permission. Heard it somewhere.
WE were energy Independent two years ago. Could feed ourselves and a large part of the world too. Seen the price of farmland lately? Who can afford to buy a farm? Not farmers. Somebody is buying them up.
Tin foil hat I know…
The most amazing thing about this...
...is that we are hearing about it.
Only secret from the American people... not the chinese
If prices are rising, shouldn’t we buy before they go up more?
Bill Gates has been busy buying up farm/ranch land.
we need to warm up the gallows
TREASON!!! He ended selling most of it to China. Now we know that was the plan all along.
Drowning in crude, U.S. drillers say Trump strategic reserve plan is no lifeline
Trump announced his intention to fill the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve “to the top” on March 13 (2020 - my add for reference) as global oil prices went into freefall amid the coronavirus outbreak as governments issued stay-at-home orders that have obliterated fuel demand.
: :
The administration’s initial idea for the SPR was to purchase 77 million barrels of oil – the amount required to fill all available space in the reserve - directly from small U.S. producers most at risk from the market slump.
But after Democratic lawmakers blocked funding for the program in last month’s stimulus package, the administration shifted strategies by offering the initial 30 million barrels of space for lease instead.
The Department of Energy said this week it has awarded contracts to store a total of 23 of the 30 million barrels initially offered in the reserve, with deliveries to start as early as this month. A DOE official said it was “not surprising” that some of the offered space was not taken, because the leasing offer required different crude types to be delivered to specific locations on a deadline.
The DOE said it plans to fill the remaining available capacity in the SPR over the coming months.
The Democrats (and I'm sure some GOP helped) denied funding for President Trump to purchase cheap oil during the Plandemic to fill up the SPR, and the MSM said he didn't follow through on his promise.
