Most Americans say their paycheck is failing to keep up with inflation in the “struggling” economy, a CBS News/YouGov survey released over the weekend found.
The survey found just 13 percent asserting that they are “getting ahead” financially in the Biden economy, compared to 52 percent who said they are “staying in the same place.” However, over one-third, 35 percent, said they are “falling behind.” When asked if their income is keeping up with inflation, most working respondents — 70 percent — said “no it isn’t,” compared to 30 percent who said it is.

I’m watching the news. It’s Jan 6 insurrection’s fault and Putin’s fault. Trump and Putin. That’s all you need to know.

I can't see how anyone really believes they're "in the same place" - unless they never actually buy groceries.
Must be the liberal half of the country, and they're lying.
About 2 weeks ago, I picked wild raspberries in my local state park. The berries are free(minus the cost of gas to drive there) and my way of beating inflation. I managed to pick 4 gallons.
People on fixed incomes are being hammered.
It was obvious thus was the future when our government said inflation was about 9 percent when in reality it was more like 30 percent. They then had the nerve to act like Social Security recipients got a big raise when in essence it was a huge tax increase.

Good! Let those lemmings feel real pain.
When Covid started and I lost my job and started cutting costs major.
I just got a letter from my electric company that said I use 31% less electricity than an efficient home.
When I was a kid, gas prices started going up and my Dad’s friend, who was a trucker, said stock up on food now cuz prices are gonna soar.
When Biden made gas expensive at the same time I got a job, I plugged in my downstairs freezer and stocked MAJOR.
When I lost that job I’ve had many months that I only spent 10$ a month on grocery.
You do what you got a do.

I live in Florida. I used to have wild berry bushes but they did not produce berries. The raspberry bushes I bought at Walmart died.
My aunt had raspberry bushes in New York State. I remember eating wild blueberries in Rhode Island. My mom and I vacationed east of Westerly, Rhode Island. One year we spent a week in a yellow painted establishment not far from Watch Hill. It was a lovely place managed by a lovely lady.
You couldn’t do that in a Virginia state park.
They charge a parking fee, so you’re paying for that, and it’s illegal to pick anything.
For such a supposed “low tax” state, Virginia sure figures out a way to nickel and dime you to death.
Getting expensive gas today I wondered how many Dem voters think it’s all still peachy and exciting to have Bidenomics in their lives.
The day Trump left office gas was a lot cheaper.
“It’s the economy, stupid”
Anyone remember that line?
Biden is not affected by rising prices. And he has no clue of how us out here in fly over country live. He says what he is told to say by his puppet masters.
I heard on the news yesterday that this is the strongest economy since WW2.
