I think it comes down to “proving” the election claims were false. And they “knew” they were false.
They will parade out the states AGs and the DOJ folks to say that the Trump claims were not proved and they could not find the election problems.
Trump will bring in folks to say the aberrations are too large to ignore.
It will make for exciting reading. But, the prosecution will try to make the defense arguments look “crazy” and “unhinged.”
In the end, you will be trying to make this complicated case in front of a jury of DC residents. Good luck with that.
The writer claimed he wasn’t imprisoned, which was wrong. Obviously he was. He was never tried because the Feds couldn’t figure out what they wanted to do with him - whether to try him in civil court or before a military tribunal etc. before he was pardoned along with the other confederates.

And? The defense gets to vet the jury pool no? Do you think every democrat in the world is pro corruption? Do you think an overreaching judge is a bad thing? The worse the judge behaves the easier to appeal....The FBI themselves have determined that J6 had very little to do with Trump. His own words make the case a joke. They can bring a case but they still have to prove the case..and they consistently overpromise and underdeliver.

I don't understand what Jefferson Davis has to do with J6. Davis waged war on the United States for four years and killed 600,000 to a million people (depending on how you count). Obviously what he did was treason. Comparing a mostly peaceful one day protest to that is a ridiculous slur on the Jan 6 patriots.
