Pence comes out swinging at Trump following Jan 6 indictment: 'Should never be president'

Former Vice President Mike Pence didn't parse words when reacting to former President Donald Trump's indictment by Special Counsel Jack Smith on Tuesday.

In a statement released following Trump's indictment on charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol and efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, Pence accused Trump of putting himself over the Constitution, and said a Trump candidacy would serve as a distraction from President Biden's "disastrous" record.

"Today's indictment serves as an important reminder: anyone who puts himself over the Constitution should never be President of the United States," Pence said. "I will have more to say about the government’s case after reviewing the indictment."

This was apparently discussed at length:

Nobody “got to” Pence. He was like that all along.

Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

— Goal #15 of the 45 communist goals for the USA

Franklin Roosevelt’s rapid conversion from Constitutionalism to the doctrine of unlimited government is an oft-told story. But I am here concerned not so much by the abandonment of states’ rights by the national Democratic Party — an event that occurred some years ago when that party was captured by the socialist ideologues in and about the labor movement — as by the unmistakable tendency of the Republican Party to adopt the same course. […] Thus, the cornerstone of the Republic, our chief bulwark against the encroachment (on) individual freedom by Big Government, is fast disappearing under the piling sands of absolutism.

The Republican Party, to be sure, gives lip service to states’ rights. We often talk about “returning to the states their rightful powers”; the Administration has even gone so far as to sponsor a federal-state conference on the problem. But deeds are what count, and I regret to say that in actual practice, the Republican Party, like the Democratic Party, summons the coercive power of the federal government whenever national leaders conclude that the states are not performing satisfactorily. …

The Conscience of a Conservative (1960), pp. 24-25
If the party has been taken from genuine Republicans, it happened many decades ago.

They are utter scum, uniparty frauds. All these indictments against Trump, can you think of one indictment made by a Republican DA against a DemoMarxist? I can’t think of one yet the reasons to indict are endless.

The harshest thing they did was censor Adamn Schiff. Ooooo I bet he’s concerned, what a joke. That slimebag for over 3 years pushed a hoax, repeatedly lied, scammed, defrauded the American people and all he gets is freakin’ censored? And where are the DA’s indicting Hillary for the Russia collusion hoax and coup attempt? Where are the indictments against her for inciting riots by telling college kids to “Resist”? Nothing.

All we get is talk and hearings while the DemoMarxists steamroll ahead with endless indictments based on BS solely so domestic enemies of this country can continue to destroy it.

A POX on you, Pense, and your waitress looking wife.

You are not extraordinary enough to be president.

You and Karen are hopelessly...pedestrian.

Just quietly...GO AWAY.

Reason #7,652 of why I despise the GOP.

It's an easy party to hate, but then so is the Democrat party.

I remember Judicial Watch promising they would shortly have the goods on Bill and Hill and their criminal enterprises, and that was in the mid-1990’s. And guess what? Nothing.
Hunter, Joe, and the family will probably walk away scot-free while President Trump may end up in a prison cell on completely false charges. Hard to fathom...

I really don’t know how these guys look at themselves in the mirror. Don’t the see the result of the Biden occupation? All the death, lives destroyed? No way in hell would Putin have invaded the Ukraine if the real President Donald Trump was in office. All the misery at the border, all the deaths from fentanyl, all the child sex trafficking, all the victims of crime as the DemoMarxists defund the cops and release criminals, total opposite of Trumps “law and order” agenda and now Iran is a hairs breath away from becoming a nuclear power and then all hell is going to break loose and for WHAT?

List the big ones, too: George W. Bush, Jeb! Bush, Dick Cheney, Liz Cheney, John Bolton (just a few more)

[Don’t the see the result of the Biden occupation?]

They have to be in on it. They make cash and keep the power until the country is left in ruins.

Is there any doubt as to why they need a nuclear World War III to distract from the coming economic disaster of reckless, heavy-deficit spending and are stripping the country and selling off the parts?

Talk about bait and switch.

I wanted the 30 pieces of silver with free leather pouch

(for limited time only)

But after wasting time at their web address I found they do not even have this for me.

To think that Trump chose Pence twice to be his running mate. Pence, please stand next to Wray, Bolton, Barr etc etc. Some very poor hiring decisions by Trump.
