Only four veterans of former President Donald Trump’s Cabinet are backing his 2024 election bid, a recent tally shows.

Of 44 former Cabinet members surveyed by NBC News, just former chief of staff Mark Meadows, budget chief Russell Vought, acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, and acting director of national intelligence Richard Grenell, are supporting their onetime boss.

“As I have said, I am proudly supporting & endorse Donald J. Trump for president in 2024. He is the only person I trust to take a wrecking ball to the Deep State. I’ve seen his willingness up close & behind closed doors. My friend & former boss is going to finish what he started,” Vought tweeted in May.

Only because they know that their betrayal has deep-sixed their chance of joining the next administration.

The non-supporting cowards, want to be available for cabinet positions for whoever the next president is, which they don’t expect it to be Trump.

Wow. Good thing they weren’t around for a 2nd term. Think 25th amendment.

The rest got sent to jail (or worse) for trying to help Trump in his job as President.

At some point people are going to shake off this messiah complex and actually look at the people who know this man and who have worked with him.

If you were looking to hire an executive and 4 of 44 former staff indicated they wouldn’t hire the guy…I am very sure he wouldn’t get the job.

The issue becomes a problem when you try to staff the administration. Are you going to be happy with Mike Lindell and Alex Jones running things?

So 40 of 44 are Uniparty Swamp Creatures.

How is this news?

The problem is Trump’s next admin will also have people like these. On the surface they will be fully supportive of Trump and his agenda and sing his praises to the media. As soon as they are out of power or have nothing to gain from him they will show their true selves. It’s the nature of the beast. Most people are in politics for personal gain. The true believers are very rare.

I know Matt Whitaker. I will trust his opinion over yours any day. A lot of Trumps selections were RINOs.

I doubt anyone would hire Musk, and yet…

That’s fine. I probably wouldn’t work for any organization involving Trump or Trump supporters. So, you don’t have to worry for a second.

Musk doesn’t “get hired.” He buys the company.

Trump doesn’t buy much these days. He certainly did not part ways with any campaign money in ‘22.

There is zero reason to believe that 40 of 44 new Trump appointees won’t be exactly the same. Trump 2 will be even more dependent for staff recommendations on Ivana and Jared and their crew of New York real estate lawyers and bankers, and on the Federalist Society for judicial nominations.

It’s way more complicated than that.

The CIA has been selecting our Presidents by margin-of-cheat ever since they murdered John F. Kennedy in 1963.

Trump is the first and only US citizen who was able to overcome their margin-of-cheat.

You deserve to live in a parallel universe where Cankles "won" in 2016.

Because that's your only alternative.

And don't whine about Rhonda Santis being our savior, because he has been exposed as the Deep State Trojan horse that he is.

We can only hope. From the feedback I get some would not be troubled in the least by Biden's re-election.

As long as Trump is there, the devotees don’t care.
