Funny thing:
DeSantis didn’t object to using CARES Act funds for his state
“On June 11, 2020, in News Releases, by Staff
Maximizes CARES funding to close achievement gaps and provide safe environments
Melbourne, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis and Commissioner Richard Corcoran announced recommendations for local communities to consider as they finalize plans to re-open safe and healthy schools that are set up for success. This plan outlines the nearly $475 million in state directed education financial assistance provided to Florida through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. In total, more than $2 billion in education-related aid was provided through the CARES Act.”
When they were under oath, Bill Stepien and Jason Miller testified they didn't believe the election was stolen.
President Hoover’s administration paid the debt and tried to keep a balanced budget of receipts & outlays.
How did Hoover do in his 1932 election with a deflationary economy attached to his administration?
Answer: FDR won 4 straight election and democrats basically had control of Congress until 1994.
He’s a DS.
Just ignore his posts.
LOLOL!
So we’re now over 31 trillion so it’s okay now?
Ok, why the direct swipes at Trump? He perfectly know Trump in 2020 was under extremely unusual conditions with covid and other issues thrown at him. I am not a Trump super fan due to this and gun control he implemented, but this kind of attack is counter productive.
De Santis strikes me as another narcissist who does not think about the container and lot America is under. Trump was elected and China with democrats and Russia too had declared war on him and used covid and covid politics to that effect.
In that case, not the easy to spike at Trump the content but the larger picture world socialist container should be the target. It is like blaming an NCO for focusing on his promotion packet more than on his soldiers when the system happens to reward the behavior.
The same issue was made of Trump getting tax breaks legally. Good grief.
No, the continued over spending is creating infaltion. The cost of fuel is marginal at best as a cause of inflation.
************************************
It’s only going to get worse in the near future, as nonessential employment with high compensation in the woke economy continues to be rewarded......valuable supply chains will evaporate and inflationary pricing will continue.
Meanwhile, check out Florida’s budgets since DeSantis has been gov...
Lame.
You only-Trumpers need to face it, your orange deity f’d up big time. You sound like whining little Dimocrats: “But his intentions were good.” or “He only did what everyone else would have done”. He was at the helm and he steered the ship toward the shoals and you think he deserves to get a pass.
Republicans spent like there was no tomorrow long before Trump was ever elected. And it has never changed. Look at all the unaccounted-for billions of dollars, and weapons being supported by Congressional Republicans to prop up another proxy war with Russia.
Big spending always causes inflation.
And Biden is even worse.
Anti-vaxxer kook. TDA loser. DeoSanctus il Short Bus is going down. We may fogive him by ‘28 but probably not.
No. This bout started with Bush II. Actually it has been ongoing since Ike. The Clinton “balanced budgets” were entirely due to the social security fund being changed from a separate entity to being included in “general revenue.”
Harry Reid Incarnate, have you switched from the election integrity lie to the Florida fiscal responsibility lie now? Clever the innuendo approach.
$2 trillion — or even $10 trillion — of government spending didn’t make it impossible for business establishments in my neck of the woods to hire entry-level staff for unskilled jobs even at $14/hour wages.
Yeah, that $20 billion surplus is a disaster. It’s so bad that Florida cut taxes for 2023-2024.
Trump wishes he had the fiscal record of DeSantis.
Not in perishable and other small margin goods. Cost of fuel and increased cost of raw materials make those products rise in price disproportionately.
The rice farmers in Central Arkansas are spending double to get the rice to mills. This is increasing the final price of packaged rice 10 to 12%. It’s cutting into their profits on the farm.
We know most all major farmers in the area. My wife grew up in Hazen Ark. We own the house her dad built in 1970.
