De-transitioner: ‘Warning’ on gender surgery
On Thursday, her 19th birthday, Chloe Cole testified to Congress with a “final warning” that medical treatments to change the gender of confused children is horrific. Cole, who was given surgery as a teenager to become male and soon regretted it, said what she needed most was therapy, not a scalpel. Here is what she told lawmakers:
My name is Chloe Cole and I am a de-transitioner.
Another way to put that would be: I used to believe that I was born in the wrong body and the adults in my life, whom I trusted, affirmed my belief, and this caused me lifelong, irreversible harm.
I speak to you today as a victim of one of the biggest medical scandals in the history of the United States of America.
I speak to you in the hope that you will have the courage to bring the scandal to an end, and ensure that other vulnerable teenagers, children and young adults don’t go through what I went through.
At the age of 12, I began to experience what my medical team would later diagnose as gender dysphoria.
I was well into an early puberty, and I was very uncomfortable with the changes that were happening to my body. I was intimidated by male attention.
And when I told my parents that I felt like a boy, in retrospect, all I meant was that I hated puberty, that I wanted this newfound sexual tension to go away.
I looked up to my brothers a little bit more than I did to my sisters.
I came out as transgender in a letter I sent on the dining room table.
My parents were immediately concerned.
They felt like they needed to get outside help from medical professionals.

At 12, she told her parents she felt like a boy. A month later, at 13, doctors started her on testosterone injections. At 15, they gave her a double mastectomy. At 16, she became suicidal.

I think the thing which would stand out in this testimony to a person from the 20th, 19th, 18th century (let’s just say the past) is that the adults let this insane delusion proceed and to literal mutilation. This poor kids “parents” how do they even look at her? Did they even loose any friends over this decision or wher they all in a rush to “affirm” and thus demonstrate their good-ness like the some trained seals that many seem to have become.
An argument that should be used more is that operating, medicalizing and “affirming” minors is banned in most of Europe and the bans are recent. It’s not a good argument by itself, but it is the one that is likely to make some Libs think.

LIBs don’t think! They lack the simple ability to “think” about the consequences of their deranged sick perverted delusions.
They lack the ability to ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING they do. The parents and doctors pushing this perversion need SENT TO HELL, ASAP!!!
Considering you can’t transition in the first place, detransitioning is also an impossibility.
These are sick POS that belong in an institution along with anyone that supports them, encouraged them and provided drugs and surgeries.
Some state level democrats have voted to ban it and referred to Europe banning it too in their explanation letters.
A lot of people are misinformed about the issue and believe the lie that the alternative to medication is suicide. They falsely believe they are being kind and would likely change their mind if they knew the facts.
One state legislature need to end this practice by making EVERYONE in the process liable for damages to any patient, in perpetuity. Hospitals, surgeons, nurses, equipment manufacturers, drug companies, therapists, teachers . . . ANYONE who advised, treated , or whose implements assisted in the mutilation will be on the hook for the duration of the patient’s life, for bad outcomes or even for second thoughts. Make sure to make retirement accounts attachable as well. These procedures would stop and the legal prohibitions would spread to other states.
The ‘science’ on their choice/s is NOT settled, so why make taxpayers responsible for the crazies’ poor life choices???
Maybe, ONE idea .... let the crazies do what they want
Even if others consent on the minor’s behalf, make it so that this does not sign away liability in the event that the minor changes his or her mind in the next 40 years.

People are raised to think the “doctor” knows best.
Surrendering your fate to another is fraught with peril. Sometimes there is no choice but in every case both common sense & due diligence need to weigh in.
There are muddy thinkers, people with their own agendas, fad adopters, corrupt & venial individuals and profit seekers in every walk of life. Sadly doctors, teacher, social workers & teachers are not exempt.
There has been terrible pressure placed on parents from threats of legal consequences, threats to and actual removal of children for failure to toe the party line. Judges have bought into these lies and brought down the full force of the law.
This is a National shame and a travesty of justice, an assault on our Constitutional right and on the family, orchestrated by those who would take away our freedoms to better control and profit from us.
No one can fix the terrible wrongs that were done but the pendulum needs to swing. Experimental surgery/hormonal castration, has life altering consequences and is never justified especially under the traditional age of consent.
Doctors are responsible for their work and in all cases they should be prosecuted, their licences removed and monetary awards should be made to their patients.
The original studies on transgender surgery by Johns Hopkins showed high rates of complications, suicides and no net improvement in life quality. The program was terminated. Years later unscrupulous people revived the practice with no scientific or moral justification. Because the left was involved this destructive practice was promoted, sanitized and popularized. The rush to hormones and surgery confirms that the patient’s well being was not even considered in the rush to a clinician desired endpoint. There is no justification for mutilating someone into a nonfunctioning man or nonfunctioning women. Mental issues are not remediated via life long mutilation, pain, loss of ability to reproduce or experience sexual pleasure.
The left is evil and causes great misery which parading in a cloak of sanctity.
Our Congress are all bystanders on this issue, totally intimidated by the Liberal crazies.

Actually it is settled. There is no benefit only loss. Increased suicides, loss of function, pain, osteoporosis and complications of surgery. No competent or licenced practitioners should perform such surgeries or even the hormonal castrations except possibly in the rare situations where people are born with hermaphrodism.
US taxpayers are already staring financial ruin in the face...since we will be picking up the tab for people harmed by the clot shot.
That constitutes many decades of an unnecessary and totally unethical burden on American workers!
There have been fads like this before. The doctor who invented lobotomy got a Nobel Prize for it. There were “lobotomobiles” driving across America performing the procedure on tens of thousands. Kennedys did it to their daughter and suffered no social shunning.
A more recent one is “repressed memories” and “multiple personality disorder” nonsense. People were thrown to jail for absurd “repressed memories” testimonies and murderers were let free because they claimed “one of my 28 personalities did it and it is unfair to jail the other 27”.
