OPEC again ,want’s some Cash
It’s almost like it’s done on purpose. But that’d be a conspiracy theory, wouldn’t it?
Hopefully they will remain high thru 2024 and the next Presidential election.
I suppose if we built that pipeline 2 years ago and gave incentives for drilling and refining two years ago we’d be all set.
or it’s setting things up so Biden can dump more Oil Reserve
I saw a meme stating that the “President” has nothing to do with the price of oil. Bull Merd. “Joe” shut down domestic production day one of the Coup d’etat. The subsequent lack of supply from domestic sources was “met” by draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and by begging the enemy for more oil…

Reports are the biden crime family wants $8 / gallon for starters
Inflation, still present, has slowed.
Yet, interest rates hit highest level for roughly 30+ years.
Now add a little mix of high fuel prices, in the middle of summer, and .....
Expect more inflation and probably recession.
Media will be running stories blaming high gas prices on climate change. Take it to the bank.
Congress needs to pass an act making the President, Vice President and leaders of both the House and Senate responsible for paying for all the fuel they use. Vehicle or aviation. Private or Government vehicles, helicopters and planes. Let them take it in the shorts for a while and maybe they’ll understand Bidenomics a little better.
Bidenomics are great.
Just buy an EV. Problem solved! /sarc
The United States still produces more oil than any other country and is now producing ~12,000,000 barrels a day.
However, Saudi Arabia has cut production but with the price of oil increasing, other OPEC nations will increase production and that will decrease the price.
Up 15¢ in the past week where I live (upstate NY).
Thank God that fuel isn’t figured into the engineered inflation figure. Otherwise, we’d be toast!
How’s that embargo going Joey? The EU price cap on Russian oil was $60....we’re at $80
“The more fuel-efficient premium gas”
Not for most cars, and the increased fuel efficiency of high-compression engines that require it doesn’t fully offset its increased price.
High compression engines are for more power per engine weight, not for lower operating costs.
If premium gas was the efficiency champion, we wouldn’t have regular gas.
Well, there’s always the Strategic Petroleum Rese.......... Oh. Never mind. Besides, it was only a few days worth.
