Yes. What ‘federal abortion ban’ I ask.
There is no place for pragmatism on FR.
You know this.
“C’mon man!”
There’s no federal ban on it. The right to have an abortion was taken off the constitution it had been tied to privacy. Mark Levin explains how it was a bad law.
Anyway, They overturned it
This guys pretending it’s an ongoing argument. It’s not. It’s out of the constitution
ESAD 😝
True, but one should be trained in deciphering headlines by now.
Its true we need time to be sure, but for now he looks way better than desantis to me.
If they take Trump away from us.
Interesting.
So Montana can't pass a law requiring the euthanizing of people over the age of, say 85?
Another take on this, say like a 32-week old pre-born baby - not much difference between her and a 6-month old post-birth baby. Except location.
There is plenty of sarcasm and jokes here on Free Republic.
But you are supposed to add a tag indicating that you were being sarcastic.
It’s fine to be sarcastic here but just add a note to your post that it is sarcasm.
Nice guess but basically wrong. Why put words in my mouth? Democrats do that often enough.
I’m “an ardent fan” of Trump for President. Vivek? He could probably find a place in the 2nd Trump administration.
As far as sticking to the topic, I don’t see anything wrong with his words. I’m surprised they lead to so much rejection on this thread. Is it “I support the Constitution and 10th Amendment, except when I don’t feel like it?” I’ve always taken that to be the liberal Democrat position.
Actually, that is the proper response. If we are going to chastise the Left for wanting big government then we can’t take the attitude that big government is alright when it’s on our side. Abortion is a state’s right issue in terms of legislation. Though it is obviously a deeply rooted moral issue at the individual level.
Vivek must have moved up to 2nd place as the hit pieces on him here on FR are really ramping up of late.
Where in the constitution is this clear wording?
He is Hindu, so his fundamental understanding of human nature is different from the Judeo-Christian. He says that unborn life is life, but if he believes each soul has many lives, it may change how he values children in the womb.
When Lindsay Graham proposed a national abortuon ban, most people here strongly criticized making abortion a federal issue, rather the state issue it is now.
Ramaswamy = Soros Boy
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
37 State legislatures could give the Feds a say. A hard lift, to be sure.
the guy’s correct.
“it’s not a federal matter....period.”
Right to life is a federal matter. Period.
Indians are technically caucasians. Just sayin’.....
