A man accused of kicking a senior Asian woman in San Francisco’s Union Square area on July 21 is the same man convicted of attacking a Chinatown leader in a widely reported incident in 2021, records show.
The latest attack: James Lee Ramsey, 27, was arrested immediately after the latest incident, which occurred on Ellis Street near Market Street at around 11:15 a.m. last Friday. The victim, 88, was heading home after buying some avocados when he allegedly kicked her to the ground.
The victim was initially reported to have massive internal bleeding. Subsequent reports say she was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A career criminal: Ramsey, an Oakland resident, is the same man convicted of assaulting Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce President Carl Chan in 2021. At the time, Chan accused Ramsey of yelling “f*ck you Chinatown!” before striking him in the head.

The Left’s power absolutely depends on constant moral and racial political posturing. Rampant black crime is an acceptable consequence of that.

Why should he be punished? He is doing his masters’ work.
At least there was an arrest and Mug Shot taken for reference.
Not too long ago, someone viciously attacking an ethnic Chinese person in Chinatown would have been met with quick and severe punishment from the Tong, if for no other reason than they had done so on their ‘turf’.
Going back further, the Tong weapon of choice was the chopping meat cleaver.
Up next, black leaders want to legalize kicking and beating Asians as the current laws against assaulting Asians disproportionately affect blacks.

A comment about the news media. When an adjective involving race as descriptive is used to identify the "woman," but not the "man," one sees editorial hands at work.
Applying the same rule for both, the headline would read "Black Man charged for kicking 88-year-old Asian woman linked to previous attack on SF Chinatown leader."
Alternatively, "Man charged for kicking 88-year-old woman linked to previous attack on SF Chinatown leader."
But the application of an adjective for the one and not the other shows the hand of the media. Tell a half truth, and hope it won't noticed.
Kudos to those Freepers who, in commenting, have shown how POORLY the media's adjective game has worked out. Any wonder that the news media is losing more and more people willing to pay for half-truths?
