First son Hunter Biden was driven to and from the federal courthouse in Wilmington, Del., in a motorcade comprising about half a dozen SUVs Wednesday, drawing outrage from conservatives.
The first son’s appearance was intended to cement a controversial plea arrangement for misdemeanor tax violations and a felony firearm charge. That went awry following a dispute between prosecutors and defense attorneys over the possibility of future charges for Hunter — including potential unregistered foreign lobbying.
But the elaborate security detail accompanying the 53-year-old triggered Twitter grousing over taxpayers footing the bill for the convoy.

A long time ago, in 1991, I was consulting for a Company which was involved in a Delaware business case in the little courthouse set aside for such matters called “Chancery Court.”
We flew into Dover the day before and met with our lawyers. The next morning, we all ate at the hotel and then three limousines showed up to take is about a mile to Chancery court. It was ridiculous.
The limos were longer than the courthouse building.
Business law in Delaware is there biggest industry after Dupont/Dow. The law firms run 24/7 and charge a fortune for everything.
The company won, but the bills were so high that the company never really recovered.

I think daddy joe made a huge PR mistake.
He and Hunter parading around the WH shoulder to shoulder, wearing those creepy Biden “gotcha” grins, looking happy as clams.....
We saw the sap-happy cokehead Hunter at official state dinners, WH events, etc........his daughter even got a costly WH wedding.
Joe was warned not to do that.........now they’re paying the price........no deal.
It doesn't matter because the Democrats do not like Joe Biden. They never have. But they respect him because he knows how to win. And if he's going to run against Trump, he'll beat him.
