CNN political analyst David Axelrod said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Situation Room” that House Republicans who want to impeach President Joe Biden were not serious people.
Anchor Wolf Blitzer said, “The White House says it’s for Republicans to decide whether to go ahead and try to impeach President Biden. What do you make of that strategy to deflect away from this escalation by House Republicans?”

If past actions are an indication, he’s correct. We can’t keep supporting these schmucks.

To me, this is psyops by Axelrod to frame the future impeachment.
McCarthy and others have said that they are looking at many people who are potential targets for impeachment, including people in the IRS, DoJ, and FBI who violated their oaths of office to cover up crimes that any other American would have been prosecuted for.
It's not just Biden Biden Biden. Axelrod knows that, but he's trying to get ahead of the narrative.

Impeaching Biden is a worthless distraction.
It would do nothing to stop the destruction we’re witnessing of our country.

I guess the ‘serious’ people are those who challenge others to push-up contests and call them names like “fat” or “Jack”.

Yeah. THAT is the core issue. If selling out America to foreign interests is not impeachable, nothing is.
It is worse than spying on Democrats.
It is worse than screwing the interns.
And it is defininitely worse than making a phone call to a foreign president to keep his eye on a sleazy politician who was, coincidently, a political rival. (a call, in retrospect, that turns out to have been PERFECT).
Yeah, Woodward, worse that Watergate. No rational person can argue otherwise.

If selling out America to foreign interests is not impeachable, nothing is.“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.”
Marcus Tullius Cicero 50 years of sly whisperings? 40 at the believable spectrum, perhaps.
A good ten years to really set the hooks of corruption in deep.

I wonder what they would consider enough “evidence” to justify an impeachment?
