Yes. Looks like the judge helpfully reminded Hunter’s legal team that they had not formally filed any request to seal evidence in this matter — and then she went and sealed it on their behalf.
Sounds like the judge is part of Hunter’s legal team.

I just heard it was a clerk who did this. If true, which is worse? The attorney faking or the clerk to the job complying to the request?

No. The judge is temporarily sealing the filing until the matter can be heard.
That's SOP when somebody makes a claim that confidential info is being disclosed.
Nothing underhanded about it.
