A Wisconsin school district is being sued for keeping parents in the dark about a transgender-identifying teacher's male-to-female gender "transition," which elementary through high school students were informed of in class without prior parental notification.
On the morning of June 5, the second-to-last day of the school year, all orchestra students at Northstar Middle School were required to report to the music room during homeroom period. There, the middle school students found orchestra teacher Jacob Puccio, a school counselor, and Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD)'s diversity, equity, and inclusion director, Dang Yang.

This isn’t as bad as what I thought at first what the headline said, which was that a student transitioned without the school informing the parents.

Middle school students are old enough to understand this although the parents should have been notified.
Many parents allow their children access to inappropriate content on their phones. TV too.
The rot is not all the fault of school systems.
A lot of things are better today, but still I miss normal.
Same with me. My second grade teacher. Good looking young black female. She came to school virtually overnight and told us her first name.
Yes, right in the girls’ restroom. I have to say I’ve never taken a picture in a restroom. That’s just gross. The perv. He shouldn’t be in a student restroom at all. That’s why they have teacher single person restrooms.
Just wait when students are informed he is pregnant.
In our smallish rural school, many of my students were friends with our kids so would say my first name but then would remember they had to say Mrs. in school. I didn’t care. But one day a kid made a total mess trying to get the proper Mrs. name out and ended up with the funniest nickname that stuck. School officials just smiled and let it slide and to this day the grown students still use the nickname.
